The aircraft itself is done, I just need to work on the base. Its only a simple one, but I am going to use some celluclay for terrain and I will do it at the same time I do the Me 262 base. But I will get some pics of the aircraft up later.

Guys, we are almost half way through the GB. I will send out some PM's soon to those who haven't stared yet, I know how easy it can be to forget what GB's your in. But if you can drop a line here that would be great.

I'm still here, guys.  I've just been watching you all work your fingers to the bone, making all these cook kits.  I've not made much progress, it took awhile to get all the parts I need.  I hope to post some pictures of the Spindrift in the next day.

cheers

Bish: I need to get back to working on the GMC plow truck...I just need to finish my COTA Impala cruiser first.

Thanks for checking in guys, look forward to seeing your builds.

Here is the finished 0/400. Just got the base to complete before I am calling this done. The rigging for the control surfaces and running from the tail were based solely on the box art.

 All comments welcome as always.

That turned out excellently, Bish.  Don't see anything about it to critique.  Looks pretty delicate.

Fine job, Bish!

Looks like your copy of the kit has the same problem as mine... lots of warpage. :(

Thanks guys. Watchmann, ye, theres a nasty twist in the fuselage so the tail is a tad lop sided. I didn't check and noticed after it was together. Have you built yours.

No, I haven't built mine yet.  I taped it together just after I bought it.  My fuselage is straight, but the wings are warped.  It's gonna be hard to fix.  I've been waiting years and years for the O/400 to be re-released.  I was a bit disappointing, but I knew it wasn't going to be as good as a newly tooled kit.

Anyway, yours looks great!  I'm excited to get started on mine, but I've got to concentrate on the Spindrift for now.

My wings seem ok, it was just the rear section. You can see that the tail is not right, but I can't make out where the twist is in the fuselage. O well, its done now.

Thanks for the comments guys. My other half is happy with it, and as she bought it, I guess I am safe.

Fantastic work Bish. I've never, ever seen this kit completed before. It's a high standard too.

Cheers

Bish, nice plane! The first thing I thought was, 'That's a lot of green!' The detail is done very well, as is the rigging. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys. Its just a simple base, a bit of kitchen worktop we had left over from a job. I wasn't sure if it would get used as its so thick, but it does seem to work for this.

Very nice indeed Bish. The base piece does work very well...at least it wasn't an old 70's piece of pink bathroom countertop that you had laying around!! LOL

Cool plane there Bish.

I have been extremely "lazy" with modling the past 2 months or so:-(

I finally did some work on the 1/32 Hasa F-6f and the 1/48 Westland wasp, I will post some pix later.

We are moving into winter here and our house is not setup for "working after it gets cold!" Much easier to get into bed than build models LOL.

I haven't been all that productive either, to many distractions. We are trying to break into summer up here, so I have had lots of jobs in the garden to do.

nice base. i hqve been productive, just not here. OTOH i finished my GRIZZLY for canadian GB and tried weathering with an airbrush. hid my camo but just picked up the HUSKY arv (o canada) and won't weather it as much. have been finishing my JGSDF TYPE 96B, working on hull seams for 2 modern subs and  firejeep for other GBs. i think i will work on the boat today between completely rearranging my study (2 computer tables, 3 model tables, 6 book cases)

Looking good Theuns. The wing root looks fine from here. I get the feeling your having the same problem with PB that I seem to be having today.

Still plenty of time wayne, I know you have been really busy as well, just as many of us GB addicts seem to be at the moment.
