We ALWAYS have room for more builds! You're in!

Splendid ... I'll be starting my 1:48 Tamiya kit in a day or two (got a local IPMS meeting tonight). This GB will also give me incentive to get my photo booth back together (this is gonna be my first kit after moving to a new house) ... looking forward to seeing everyone's builds.

Cheers,

Brad

Bish: I'm pretty sure my English is going to get "corrupted", but I don't mind it! (LOL)

John: There's nothin' wrong with the way ya guys talk!

That's good to hear, for a moment I thought no one understood me!  That doesn't however explain my children who always look at me like they don't understand me!Surprise And we won't talk about the dog!

On another note, Going to my LHS tonight I hope my 335 exhausts are in! Big Smile

If it's not too late to join...a couple weeks ago I picked up the same kit that Eagle90 received and I was planning on starting it this week.

I wandered into the GB area looking to see if I could find a build that would match up with it and almost fell outta my chair when I found a dedicated GB!

Count me in with a Tamiya 1:48 if you got room for one more

Cheers,

Brad

That's great news! I can't wait to see some progress pics! I'm going on a 3-week trip to the states on Friday though... I'll try to keep updated regarding all my GBs (as well as the ones I'm participating in)...

Hey Clemens... I'm still waiting on one item for my "Arrow" but it wont keep me from starting... I'm usually prone to trying to be realistic as I can, but as we know on this beautiful old aircraft very few ever took to the air and even fewer saw action. So, having said that I will be taking a few artistic freedoms with this build. I'm going to do a night fighter as I would have liked to have seen her rigged and flying.

The kit I'm building is a Monogran Pro Modeler, 1/48th scale, there will be a fair amount of resin and PE, along with some RB "guns" and cannons. The paint will be totally my imagination and scheme. I will start this weekend I hope. Take care my friends...

I know how you feel, John. I'm still waiting for the resin spinner for my Airacobra I ordered over 2 months ago...

True Details offers a nice wheel set for the 335 at a very good price:

I'm still waiting for my resin exhausts from my LHS Sad  And I was looking at the kit last night messing with the wheels and realized I want resin wheels for this too.   I don't like the ones that revell has in the kit.   If anyone else has this kit look at the wheels once they are assembled,  the flat is actually a V shape. Surprise   So I'm going to order those too.

Don't know from who yet but I'll figure that out tomorrow when I go to my LHS. Big Smile

John, (Falconmod) Brother I hear ya about feeding the carpet creature! In my case its the concrete crocodile (I work in a corner of my garadge) But I'll tell you what I've done that cut losses down to a very bare minimum. I read here(Fine Scale) some time ago about wearing an apron, You tack the apron to the underside of your bench slip it on and it acts like a big basket, you drop something, its almost always in the apron somewhere. The extreemely rare times wnen it even eludes the apron, I have a small 12volt car vac that I put a piece of cheese cloth or a piece of old panty hose that my wife donates ( well actually she doesn't know shes donating yet) over the inlet to the tank Under the hose connection and suck it up! the part will be in the nylon catch every time.Just a tip , might help to keep you from crawling around on the floor so much. Take care friends!

That is definitely  part of their charm though - its a tough build, but yields great results if you are careful!

I just finished the A8 as well, I have a D9 I'm holding off on until I forget how difficult the A8 was!!

Gluttons for punishment? I think that is very true... Those kits are easier to build every time though...

I loved my WW1 Albatros from eduard, I went and got three others to build while I was in the middle of that build cuz i liked it so much.  There's just alot more little parts in the Eduard 190 than in either the Dragon or the Tamiya  that want to jump into my carpet.      Surprise

They aint too awful bad but you just have to pay attention to the instructions. The hard work put into those kits DEFINITETLY yields good reults!!

Just kidding! I won't order me any 190s untill all 5 in my stash are built...

I don't believe you!Surprise lol  I was planning on having my friend look for some when he left a few days ago.  I seem to have acquired some form of addition to FW190's.  maybe it's the unused decals I've got in the stash, or maybe it's the fact that I need to prefect my mottling, have to get that right.Angry

John

or maybe the piles on my bench aren't high enough.

I should get some updated photo's of the current 190A-8 I'm doing this weekend,  trying to finish up the decals.

After building my ONE Eduard A-8 I find that you guys are gluttons for punishment!! lolBig Smile

I've only built the Tamiya and the Dragon 190's.  I  do have a eduard in the stash but it really scares me, I've opened it a couple of times and put it back, I'm not ready for the Eduard yet.
