Shiv - Excellent work on the Momsen. The multi-tone grays really adds to the look. Also that SA-2 looks seriously wicked.
Jibber - That SPG is looking great. Always loved the look of the Marders, in all their forms.
More or less done with my first entry, Airfix's 1/72 Bloodhound. No in-progress shots, since I'd lent my camera out for a stretch, but there wasn't anything particularly interesting or novel involved.
Sweden operated Bloodhound Mk. I's, the same model portrayed in the kit. Theirs were plain white as best I can tell, but I decided to go a little WHIFfy and try out something a little more stylin', namely the Viggen-type splinter camouflage.
Though I also built the trailer, and am nearly finished with the kit's little Land Rover (also destined for a splinter scheme), I decided I'd do a little vignette with just the missile, an airman security guard (scratchbuilt rifle added), and his faithful guard dog Sven. I made a little concrete pad, and I'll mount the whole thing on a peanut butter jar lid base as soon as the PB is gone.
The kit didn't come with any decals, so I used bits and pieces from my spares collection for assorted likely-looking markings. Swedish AF roundels are from an old Flying Colors sheet. I made a crude attempt at Sweden's splinter battledress camo for the guard by dabbing on patches with the tip of a toothpick.
