Hey Rob, did you hold the part in your hand while drilling it? I got some better bits than what I had for my pin vice. Maybe that will help me get the small drilling done.

Can't wait to see this one done!!  I know it's had its moments, but I think you've done a great job on her....I can almost hear the engines spooling up!!

She's Done!! It was a bit of a pain and I had to spend more time doing repairs that I'd liked. Not completely pleased with this build, but, overall it turned out just ok. Definitely not a competition piece, LOL. Anyway, thanks for the support during this trying build and BIG thanks to Matt for hosting this GB. I just hope he makes it back to see that his GB kept going. Here's the final pics:

OOHHH, that looks great Rob!  Despite the numerous kit issues, poor fitting, and the numerous mishaps, It really turned out sweet. I believe you have earned that badge sir. Now sit back and enjoy what should be a nice an easy no issue build with that new Academy Stang

Calling it done folks, put the finishing touches on last night, took pictures late in the evening, woke up this morning & wasn't happy with the lighting. Sooooo, you get this pic for now, think I'll be re-shooting the final-final pics tomorrow.

Thanks gents, had a good time with this build! Hoping to get my "final-final" pics taken today before I move her into the display cabinet, alongside its Seversky-built cousin.

Well all I guess I will call it done. I am waiting for a new windscreen from Revell.

Been a fun build but one from hell. Kept breaking the stabilizers off, lost windscreen, masking nightmare among other things. I learned a lot from this build and thanks to all that helped me though it.

That's what I like about group builds, they keep me going and pressing through when problem kits would have otherwise be relegated to the box of shame.
