No pics, at an inbetween stage on some stuff. Progress is very slow, but at least there is some!

Getting towards the end of the rear suspension on the Williams and think I'll be able to complete the entire assembly soon, which means that can go onto the body.

On the Ferrari the daunting prospect of the engin has started. But very slowly. A lot of small things glued on, which may as well have been moulded in., esp considering the location. And just started on the exhausts. So hope to be at a stage where I can at least show something shortly. Oh, and started to decal the front section, but not much progress there. Except for some serious new language inventions in the process of mating two decals - the main sponsor decal on the nose has a small section the fold over a bump right before the driver. That was.... testing! Speaking of which, I am going to add one more decal before watching MotoGP!

Lookin' forward to seeing the progress on that engine Seabe. I'd say that engine building is one of my most favorite things about automotive modeling(heck for that matter I like that same aspect in aircraft modeling. lol). I do like getting in there and "going for broke" on engine detail.

That decal process sounds like a trying one alright. Lookin' forward to seeing where your at when you're able to do so.

This is the new Moebius 65 Plymouth Satellite. I'm going with a yellow gold (HH1) with a white top and black interior. Going with the factory stock build on this one. So far I've installed the front and rear panels and the front iner fender walls before spraying. Here's my progress so far. I BMF the emblems before spraying the yellow gold and then I rubbed it off  Joe the new BMF scrib works great  thanks again

Those are some cool colors you're using on that car Dan. No prob on the scribe dude and yes it does work pretty good. I used it this weekend on the BMF for the drivers door chrome trim on the 56. Great to see you in here and I've heard alot of good things on that kit. I'll get your entry in the intro post pal.Yes

Alright I'm back after the Austin show ready to get back on this thing and see it through. First things first, I chunked the hood into the brake fluid. I didn't even look back as I'm ready to just start over with that part. I had some fit issues with the side step fit interference at the front of the rear fender blister area at both sides. Fortunately I don't have to trim anything as it is an assembly order thing. All I have to do is install the bed first and then the steps so that problem is solved thankfully!! If any of you guys are going to the San Antonio show I'll most likely be done with this one in time for that.

I also installed the tail lights and license plate. Here's a bed test fit to show the results of that........

My progress is moving along I've started wet sanding the body and painted the interior. Today I plan to paint the top white and work on the engine. Here's where I'm at now.

Dang Dan!!! You've been working your   off with this one!!! Looking great. What color did you wind up painting the engine? I do have one question about the undercarraige. Where are the exhaust pipes going into the mufflers? Did this kit not come with those?

I cut about a 1/2" off of each side of the rear bumper and currently have it immersed in brake fluid to remove the chrome plating. After it comes out of there I'll clean it up and treat it to a coat of Alclad II chrome and buff it out. Hmm...looks like some license plate retaining hardware is in order. I'll get to work on that....

The overall fit and look:

All I've gotta say is that when I did the gloss coat on my Challenger build a few months back either 1.) God was with me , 2.) the stars were all lined up just right, 3.) Hell did in fact freeze over or 4.) it must have been pure dumb luck because this paint job here has given me a run for my money!!! I'm still in the fight and aint giving up though!!!  I wet sanded all the minor cracking I saw in the gloss finish over the flames on the body and polished the heck out of it with Novus 2. I also repainted the flames on the 4th friggin paint job on this hood and will be letting that all gas out for 3 or 4 days before attempting another gloss coat on it. The roof got a wet sanding and polishing as well and I glued two retaining screw heads onto the rear license plate to tidy that up a little.
I ended up lightening the pics up a little so the flames can be seen a little better. Under the right lighting these things jump out at you.

Image

You can see where the finish is a lot smoother in this photo particularly at the front of the fender area. I'm surprising myself with these results.

Image

The flames on the hood came out better this time around IMO because I thinned the decanted paint a little more and got it to come out a little smoother.

Here's a shot with everything installed as it's gonna be. So far I've got good feelin's about this time 'round.....

Looking good Joe.

I received my MAD wired distributor this week and installed it today and a little more work on the engine. Test fit it in the engine in the engine bay.

Mustang, not feeling any love for the Camaro at the moment.  Can you switch my entry to the 1/20 Tamiya Ferrari F189 as driven by Nigel Mansell at the 1989 Portuguese G.P. please?
