Nope, I have just been working on other things as of late. I'll be back.

Whew. I thought everyone had left me here all alone. LOL!

Okay here is the update photos of what I have got done so far. This is my feeble attempt at re-scribing panel lines, pin washing and weathering. My hands are kinda shaky and I did use tape as a guide. I do not have a scribing tool so an old air brush needle was used.

All was sealed with Future and ready for decals. I may go ahead and put some of the stencils on and wait till later to put on the main ones.

Tell me what you think.

Doug

NOMAD looks good to me. i jit the wall plus having a couple of MUST finish, regionals this Saturday, and every model i am working on is at a difficult stage i have to work thru.

hell i am hosting a SCI FI GB and they probably think i died over there.

I have found that sometimes it looks like a GB had died....but then it suddenly picks up again as soon as someone posts pix of a completed build :-)

Looking good that F-4

We here in South Africa are going into winter now and granted it is no where near as bad as in the northen parts of the planet I still find it tough to model in the cold, the fingers become dumb and the *** to be out from under the covers is not really high  LOL

Where I live in the central hilands, we run between -3 C to 20 C changes in the day, so that is what gets us. It is not constant.

Summer is usually between 33-38C but that is our rain season so it is not to bad.

Well looks like I am done. Made some mistakes along the way. Lot some small pieces to the black hole, but I made it. I am happy with a lot of what I have done on this build and not so happy with others. I have learned so much more on this build to make the next one better.

Hope you all like it.

Doug.

That looks absolutely stunning! I will post a pix on the front page within the next week or so as I am not on my home PC now only on cell phone.

Well done on the build.

sweet build. i just bought some 3 foot folding blue sections at HOBBYLOBBY to use as background instead of sheets. with 40% coupon  it's really inexpensive.

Still here, but not building....my whole world is packed away in storage waiting for me to take possession of my new condo on 1 August...I'll be back shortly after I get settled in.

Yea, moving is always a hassle. I might be in the same situation this Nov as my place I rent is becoming very expensive and to small.

Moves suck... To put it lightly... I'm still here. I'm gonna swap out my Skyhawk for one of the new Revell F-4G kits. I'll start it next month when my vacation starts... No job to interfere with modeling for three glorious weeks!

Oh my job certainly finances this habit... But it sure cuts into time for practicing the hobby ;)

The same here. I have a killer deadline for rebuilding an aerobatic team's planes between airshow seasons so allot of my time is spent doing "real work". After 8 hours of that and a 2 hour commute I find it hard to get the *** to build models aswell :-(

I have the revell 1/32 PA-18 (quite unscale I must say) to represent the plane I fly, but will have to hope for warmer weather to start it.

I'll be back soon. I'm installing my workbench in my new condo on Saturday...once I figure out how to vent my airbrush, I'll be back in production.

Theuns,
If possable, I'd like to switch me entry to Revels 1/28 Fokker Dr1. Although it’s in a new Revell box, it is an old mold with some flashing. I will be painting it in his famous red rather the pre-red 3 tone green of Jasta 11.
