After taking a break for the Weekend Madness GB I was able to make some progress on the Mustang.
This is what I have so far after joining the fuse half’s. I found that most of the detailing I did to the engine is hidden. Oh well, at least I know they’re there.
I am missing one part though, V11. It is part of the lower bracing under the engine intake air scoop. I was painting it last night, holding it with tweezers. I looked up as my wife asked me something and PING! The part goes flying and I heard it hit something to my right. After an exhaustive search I couldn't find it. I still have plenty of time to find it. The way the diorama is laid out, I can install it last if needed.

Theuns,

I finally completed the Baron's Dr-1. The kit was what you would expect from an old Revell mold, with a little PE added.

I do like the prop on the DR1, well done.

Here is my 1/32 Tam Mustprang. I got the engine and firewall basically done

The belts on the seat are "real look" and I like them allot!

I think I got it. Here is the Dr-1 in its paint. I still need to finish the guns and a few other tough ups such as the skids on the wing tips ETC.

I will probably put this aside for a day or two while I try to finish two ther builds.

Here’s where I am after an evening of painting. The August 1917 Jasta 11 colors, just before Richthofen went all red in September.

Here's the progress tonight. I was gone the Tacoma and returned late last night so I didn't get much done. Anyway it is ready for painting.

I will be painting it in Jasta 11 1917 colors.

Very little to update on this, as most of us, I have been busy with life.
Here is what I have so far. I attached the wings and filled some gaps. Next is the undercarriage and a few other fiddly things. I'm working on the guns separately.

I finally got back to, and finished, the Tamiya Corsair. I know the engine was posted on the completed page so here's the "engine display case"

Theuns,
If possable, I'd like to switch me entry to Revels 1/28 Fokker Dr1. Although it’s in a new Revell box, it is an old mold with some flashing. I will be painting it in his famous red rather the pre-red 3 tone green of Jasta 11.

Nope, I have just been working on other things as of late. I'll be back.

I'll be back soon. I'm installing my workbench in my new condo on Saturday...once I figure out how to vent my airbrush, I'll be back in production.

The same here. I have a killer deadline for rebuilding an aerobatic team's planes between airshow seasons so allot of my time is spent doing "real work". After 8 hours of that and a 2 hour commute I find it hard to get the *** to build models aswell :-(

I have the revell 1/32 PA-18 (quite unscale I must say) to represent the plane I fly, but will have to hope for warmer weather to start it.

Oh my job certainly finances this habit... But it sure cuts into time for practicing the hobby ;)

Moves suck... To put it lightly... I'm still here. I'm gonna swap out my Skyhawk for one of the new Revell F-4G kits. I'll start it next month when my vacation starts... No job to interfere with modeling for three glorious weeks!

Yea, moving is always a hassle. I might be in the same situation this Nov as my place I rent is becoming very expensive and to small.

Still here, but not building....my whole world is packed away in storage waiting for me to take possession of my new condo on 1 August...I'll be back shortly after I get settled in.
