Bish,

Put me down for a 1/72 Hobby Boss A-7E.  It will be in VA-46 markings.

Stik, could you put me down for a Tamiya 1/48th F-117A? I think the kit decals should qualify, if not let me know.

I'm not a big fan of this aircraft, but when I think of Gulf War, the first thing that comes to mind is watching the crazy footage from the on board cameras.

Never built anything like this and am a bit skittish, but I'm sure y'all will help me when needed.

Well I start 3 weeks off of work (officially) at midnite on Saturday. With my normal days off thrown in I have actually already begun and it works out to just under four weeks off, so I will get something going after August begins here...

I have just ordered my tracks. I was going to get some Fruils, but saw someone mention sword metal links and saying how nice they were. So I am going to try those and saved myself a fiver in the process. Just got a couple of resin sets to get from Accurate Armour.

Yeah, I need to swing by the LHS for either a set of Italeri Jerry Cans, or some angle strip styrene to make up the improvised can racks some Iraqi BMPs carried.

given the large number of countries in the coalition i figured Baghdad Bob, as he was known in the US, would be most appropriate.

I hope to do something tomorrow. I got a CMK detail kit to go with my F117A, so I'd best get looking at things to see where I should start.

Officially, midnight is 10 hrs away here in paradise.

4 wks off sounds good, Stik.

Wayne, that looks pretty good. Any chance you can do something similar with a Saddam image?

Greg, the time off will be nice. But as usual I am sure that I will be ready to go back to work by the end of it... Looking forward to your Nighthawk ;)
