So heres my less than two bits. Your tank took a hit, right? Brewed it up good. It didn't go anywhere after that. Why are the tracks all catywhompus? Don't do that, make them all in go forward style.

Wasn't it you who said, and I quote:

"The key IMO is to find a photograph that you really like and go from there. Knocked out armor has a lot of weird quirky stuff going on."

I kinda took your advice.

And I refer back to some YouTube screen shots of a Hellfire.

While I work on the base, install the battery holder and switch, I've completed the Lion, which of course, is missing the fire for now. Well....decals are stll in order.

Thanks, guys! Dragon 1/700.

Really difficult in many ways.

I'm putting an Eduard set into the F-117. I think it'll be a pretty swell kit.

GM, lovely finish on the Tarawa, some really nice detail in there.

I have ade a pic to the temp roster until Stik is able to out it in the proper one. Unfourtunatly i am not sure of the make or scale. I am guessing 1/700 but wasn't sure.

11B, you are more than welcome to build as many kits as you like during the timespan of this GB.

No where does it say we can't, and you are clearly a finishing type. I'm starting no. 3.

Is it ok to submit another build for this group build or are we limited to one build?

Nice work on getting the LHA done! I built the old Revell kit a few times, last time was when I was in high school in the 80s.

Been feeling less than well the last couple of weeks; hope to get back to the Enigma soon. I tend to work in 'bursts' anyway, so its not all that unusual.

Stik, ye, its gone together really nice. Hull is done, starting on the turret now. And those tracks are nice but a bit of a pain to get together.

Nice progress all around guys!

MC, it looks like you are not too far from the finish line...

Bish, the Chally should just fall together from this point on. Built both Tamiya releases of the kit and they are great builds,

GM, you are just about ready to commision your LHA and send her off. Very nice!

Steve, loving the look of this, really nice. I have been building armour for over 30 years and I still don't get how people can paint with the tracks fitted.

Now that it's been a little while and I have finally gotten back to it, I think it's ready for some paint.

So I am close to finishing the LHA-1 Tarawa. There's mostly all of the mast head detail and rigging left. I'm pretty happy with the way she has come out, and I look forward to wrapping her up next week.
