Thank you Rooster,
The family went to dinner tonight and everything should start winding down after my brother-in-law's funeral tomorrow. I however could get an hour tonight to finish the stripe and spinner I started on Saturday.

I'm posting this here first. Just sprayed my two T-Bolts with alclad. A few spots started crackling. At first I thought I might have gotten glue on paint. But some of the spots were never touched by glue. All areas were basecoated with humbrol black enamel. Any ideas? Thanks

I applied the decals and began the weathering on the 202.

Well I've finally dived into my Tamiya P-47 Bubbletop. Has everyone says, the cockpit in this thing is beautiful OOB. Only "scratch" work I did was add some wire for linkage to the throttle quadrant and some to the back of the IP as this will be somewhat visible on the finished build. The Dull Dark Green is MM enamel Euro Dark Green and and the black was done with Vallejo which I really love for brush painting. I would have loved to put a resin seat in this one for the belts but didn't want to wait for oneWhistling So I scratched them out of wire and tamiya tape. I'm fairly happy with how they came. I also added a drop of future to the IP dails, which you can kind of see in the picture.

Thanks for looking and as always comments/critques are encouraged!

Trying my hand with Alclad. I didn't want them to look like individual panels being different shades so I "marbelized" the shading. So far I'm happy. They look used

I am still getting back into building models after I looooong hiatus...so far it has been a great stress relief from my job besides a a6m2 that turned into a pile of plastic and glue but it was my first model amd I learned a lot ...for one do not rush...you can count me in for a Tamiya 1/72 P47 Razorback

I'm almost done with the Folgore. I need to complete the canopy and then work on the base, but here it is so far.

That's really coming together well Steve. Still think that camo is spot on! I know what a pain getting a good fuselage band painted can be and you did a great job on one over irregular surfaces. Looking forward to seeing it all buttoned up!

Well I'm done with it. Thank you Rooster for hosting this Group Build. I have some P-47's in the stash but won't be able to get to them before the GB ends so this will have to be it....unless something unexpceted happens.
This was a nice kit, typical Hasegawa, good fit, nice detail, not overly engineered.

The base isn't a good as I would like but that's another area I need to get better at.

Anyway here it is. The Macchi C.202 Folgore.

Rooster here you go for the front page,

This is better. Now I can call it done. Thank you for following along like I said it was an enjoyable kit and would eventually like to add the Italeri C.205 to go next to it.
