I've nearly finished my Ta 183. It might not have been the best kit to choose to do a groupbuild of- after all, there are only about 20 parts in the whole thing! Anyway, after a lot of airbrush trouble, I finally got it painted. I wanted to do all sort's of shading, but after the trouble I had with the airbrush I pretty much just painted it and called it good.
A little bit of chipping, maybe some very light weathering, and some final pictures, and I'll have a factory-fresh (ish) Ta 183.
Immense amounts of putty.
Black basing from when I thought I would do something interesting with this one.
Light grey. This is normal Vallejo Light Gray. Instructions call for RLM 76, but the vellajo Air color for that is VERY blue, and not suitable for grey.
Camo painted, painting markings.
Decals from my spares box added, Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color waiting to be cleaned up on the control surfaces.
