Blackdog, that certainly is some creative work on the 152.  Very unique look to the 'chalkline' like scribbles over the surfaces, nicely executed. Yes

mustang feel free to pick wich 1 you would like to put on the wall. i had a lot of fun with this build the hobby boss kits are really easy to work the fit for the most part is really nice. the paint on this was  1 of the more difficult that i have done but its the most fun part for me. its when the kit really comes together. and this pic shows the rivets on the torpedo that i made its the first time i have used my riveter.

well there she is i hope you all enjoy the pics.

ok so got ready to take some finnal pics to post of my TA-162 when i noticed one of the landing gear looked to be leaning only after a few days. so i tryed to push it over and epoxy the strut in hopes of holding it. that met in disaster as i snaped it of so i have cut a steal 2017-10-11_11-35-40 by Jerry Richards, on Flickrl pin to fit into the wing and landing gear. lol and drilled a hole through my wing.

I've nearly finished my Ta 183. It might not have been the best kit to choose to do a groupbuild of- after all, there are only about 20 parts in the whole thing! Anyway, after a lot of airbrush trouble, I finally got it painted. I wanted to do all sort's of shading, but after the trouble I had with the airbrush I pretty much just painted it and called it good.

A little bit of chipping, maybe some very light weathering, and some final pictures, and I'll have a factory-fresh (ish) Ta 183.

Immense amounts of putty.

Black basing from when I thought I would do something interesting with this one.

Light grey. This is normal Vallejo Light Gray. Instructions call for RLM 76, but the vellajo Air color for that is VERY blue, and not suitable for grey.

Camo painted, painting markings.

Decals from my spares box added, Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color waiting to be cleaned up on the control surfaces.

The start of my Revell 1/32 HE 162

Here is a nicely detailed kit.

The engine impeller and turbine wheel. I played around with alclad burnt iron and pale burnt iron to give some tonla difference to simulate the temprature differences in the BMW's hot section.

LOL to be honest I just realised the title of this GB, 2017/2018. If all goes well with my projects already in the skillet, I surely will jump in with Academy's 1/72 Me-163. I really want to do it as the B model only because of it's rarity both in real life back in the day and modelling as well. Something different. If you guys can read my mind, which is dangerous, there's a Monty Python whim there lol.

Armor_Aficionado

Hey mustang, I noticed on the front page, where you have a picture of my completed build posted, you've got the label wrong. That's the Me-163 Komet, NOT the Horten Go-229!

That's my fault Armor, sorry about that. Got too haphazard with my cut and paste! Should be all set now!
