Thanks for the positive vibes, guys!

Mustang - That cockpit looks incredible!

Ridgerider- I really can't wait to see what you do with those two kits!

Jack - Looking forward to seeing the progress you make on that 109!

I've made a ton of progress on my 262. I assembled the engines and attached them to the wings, and glued on the rear stabilizers. It's really starting to look like a jet now. I'm still on the fence about building it with the gear up or down - I've already added nose weight so it'd kind of be a shame to not keep the gear down. I guess I'll have to ponder this matter further!

Joe... I've got a Dragon Ju88 (not the Mistel) and yup, it's big. BUT... Get this, I showed my wife pictures of what I have planned, and she wants to do... Are you ready for this??? She wants to do one of the 1\32 Ju88 kits in Mistel with a Me109 or a Fw190 I have the Revell Ju88 in 1\32 And a variety of Me,s and Fws in 1\32. I knew I married the right one this time! Lololol...

Take care guys...

Doug

Bish... Gotcha! Thanks for the info, I was not aware of that and it explains a lot. I've done some more and its too late , soon as I get pictures posted you'll see. I made some filler pieces and have some putty work done already.

Mistel 2 and 3 conversions.I think these are new as i have not seen them before and i was eyeing up one of the 188 conversions recently.

http://www.aimsmodels.co.uk/1-32/Updates_and_Conversions/updates_and_conversions.html

And you are currently building a what if. So who's to say in really desperate times they didn't just bolt a warhead onto the cockpit.

the title of this GB fits my build to a tee? this kit has been on the shelf for more then two years. Now I remember why its the camo the shades of RLM german green. greens vary form tamiya ,model masters ,floquil.aero master ect.... I guess I will go with the stuka colors of blk green/dark green/rlm65( attack camo scheme) the tamiya paint that show I ll test 1st.

Dude I can certainly identify with an aviation project being on the shelf for that long Nick. I began to wonder if I was ever going to break free of automotive building long enough to return to the winged wonders. Good start on your Pfeil.

Morning all... Made some decisions and did a little more work the last day or so...

I'm going to use the engine cowling piece, clipped off the pieces of the nose that extended past the cowling. Found some pieces of an old drop tank to use for warhead.

cut and shaped three little pieces (The small black inserts) to fill in the gaps, filed and shaped to clean up the edges and fitment. Puttied and sanded to smooth out.

And primered....

Thats about it for now... Start the paint next... Take care all!

Great looking Dora. I almost went for that colour for Rudels 190, but there was conflicting info so i have gone for a green/grey scheme. Butr that does look nice and the 335 will really look good in that.

Thanks guys... You guys are the one thing that sets this forum apart from others. There are so many great people here. And it seems that the one person at FSM  that I feel was causing alot of tension has moved on or been reassigned. That also made it eaisier to return. Any way.... Again, THANKS!!! You too were missed!

I've been messing around with my 35 year old 1969 Camaro Z/28 that I'm turning into an SS396 along side of my 234 Blitz build. Just finished the engine up for that one after a month and a half:

And this one I throw in for all my friends at work. They always tell me that I have a giant clothespin hanging out in my garage. :giggles:

Joe...

Fine looking engine! Almost looks as if its turn key ready. Had a 396 , 375 horse in a 68 Camaro in 1969. Only thing I ever did away with was that POS ThermoQuad carb. Replaced it with an 1100 Holly Double pumper.  Pass every thing but a gas station! Wish I still had it...

Any way, initial paint work done on Goes Boom... Decals tomorrow...

Like I said, Decals next!

Take care all!

Afternoon all! Finally got decals done...

I've also started some of the weathering...

Tomorrow, I'll try to finish up the weathering and make her a bit more war weary.

Take care all!

Thanks for the kudos on the "other" build that I've got going on guys.

Doug: Can never get enough of your builds buddy! You bring one mean set of skills to the table friend.

I hope that everybody had a great weekend. We celebrated our son Joseph's 13th birthday on Friday AND Saturday and of course , Mother's Day today. What a busy weekend. I didn't get Jack Crap done on any build this weekend but will kick it into high gear this week. Looking forward to all you guys continued building. With that.............let's rock and roll shall we?
