The 2017/ 2018 Too Little Too Late Group Build

Just wanted to say thank you for this group I had lots of fun being apart of it. I got busy and lost track of my time and didn't  Finnish my second build in time.

I've never seen one in person but I do know that they are a whale size of an aircraft alright.

You've just gotta love the shape of these things!!! Looks fantastic so far SB!

She looks like an airplane now, although I needed some filler here and there.

Bob, great job on those pits. Some very nice detail painting.

Thats looking very nice Matt, great job on the wood effects and i really like how you have done those seam lines.

Matt: I know all too well about life's priorities getting in the way. I went through that at the last part of the year last year and it do "do sum suckin' !!" . Good to see you back at it though and that Heinkel is lookin' sweet so far buddy.

SB: You've got some good detail going into that pit of yours. Really looking forward to more.

As promised, here are the pics.  The first is the cockpit and the second is the radar operator's station.  There might be some sloppy paintwork, one of the side effects of the meds they have me on is causing my hands to shake.  I think I caught all the slip ups, but if you see something let me know and I'll get it fixed.  Once the glue sets I'll get them in the fuselage.

It has been a low priority, work and family, and now my Masters are all in the way.  

I have been able to to a bit here and there though, here is where it was before the move.

The challenge is getting all the wood grain decals down smoothly and evenly.  Since these photos were taken, I have completed the decals, tried my hand at oil paint wood grain for the nose cone and interior of the gear doors.  Will get some recent pictures together this week, hopefully.

On my He-162, I have finished all the woodgrain decals and have expiremented with oil paint wood grain for the nose and interior landing gear doors. No pictures yet, still need to get that done. Work, school and life seem to be getting in the way though. I still have not managed to get my workbench up since i moved last summer. Soon though, I hope!

That 262 pit is looking well used!  Just right in my eyes.  Keep up the good work, and remember, late in the war aircraft were rushed into service, so not all the joins were smooth and perfect, so dont sweat it too much!

the kits fit is quite nice but dew to my cleaning up attachment point from the sprue right in front the canopy im going to have some seam filling to do. i sanded it at the wrong angle and opend the seem up. ill fill it the my fave filler milliput. it should be fine.  lol ya right!

Man...................that 162 came out fantastic Tony! I've always liked the looks of those birds and wanted to build one. Like I tell Bish all the time...............I just don't know how you fellas work with 72nd scale as it takes a special breed to pull of some of the cool stunts that I've seen you guys do in that scale. Awesome work bud.

Those Hobbyboss kits with the one piece wing and fuselage are interesting.
