Very nice, and once again proving Morrison's Third Law of Modeling:

No matter how large the bench, the active modeling space will always be exactly two square feet.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Keyda

Im very sorry for your loss. I have lost both my mom and dad and it's a very sad and empty feeling one has even after years have gone by.

Hunter

My condolences to you and your wife for your loss. It's very hard for a parent to loose a child.

Thanks Hunter, I can't imagine what you and your wife are going through, my condolences.  My youngest brother in law and wife had the same thing happen to them, and my cousin and his girlfriend.  I've seen what they have had to go through.

Lodni Kranazon, Thank you, I did stretch a bunch of sprue hoping that would work if I did have to land up sanding some off.  It's still trial and error for me as I work on improving my skills with each build.  I still have a long way to go to even come close to the level of some of the builders on this forum, but I've come a long way since my first build.

Sorry to hear Keyda. But great job on that B-26! I know it is impossible to not loose a few of the raised lines. I have used very fine stretched sprue to replace the more obvious ones, the others I just used an Xacto blade to replicate - bringing just a bit of plastic up. Good luck!

Everyone,

Wow, each of you have done a awesome job! I sure hope I can take part in the next MM GB. Yes sir Stik, you have hosted another great GB.

Kenyda...very sorry to hear you lost your father. I lost my dad almost 2 years ago, and my wife and I just went through losing our unborn daughter. Like Stik, I know were you're at right now. I do know that you will find a inner peace as time goes on. Again, I am truely sorry for your lose. Now, I have to say how nice you masked off the canopy and nose bubble, and that your build is coming along nicely.

Again, great job everyone

Hunter

I’m sorry for your loss Keyda. I know the feeling. When my mom died, it took me awhile to get back to the bench.

Youre making good progress on the Marauder and don’t look too far off from getting paint on.

Nice work everyone.  Sorry I've been MIA lately.  I lost my Dad in August, and just haven't been able to get to the bench for multiple reasons.  I have however made a come back and started up on the Marauder again.

Did some sanding, and putting putty in various spots.  It's rather obvious there are going to be many rounds of putty, sanding, and primer.  I'm trying my best to avoid damaging the raised detail on this one, I would like to retain as much of it as possible.  I'm doing my best to do justice to such an historical aircraft.

Spent most of my time masking canopies.

As she sits when I finished for the night.

Still a lot of work to be done before I can get some painting done.  Looks like I will have some time though, rain is in the forecast for a while.  Feels good to finally be back at the bench.

Thanks all, I'm trying to power thru this build but work keeps getting in the way Tongue Tied

That sounds very familiar... and no matter how much work and life get in the way, you’re past the halfway mark on this build and it’s looking darn good!

68GT - very nice looking T-Bolt you got going on there!

Didn't get quite as much done this weekend as I had hoped but still made some progress on the 1/48 R/M P-51D.

PJ, your completed Dornier photo is added to the front page and your roster has been notated- completed, MADE. Wear your family GB badge proudly and go forth.

Thanks stik, sorry I missed this post.

I have to add a bunch of other GB badges when I can find the time.

Thanks for hosting and letting me participate. Now I feel like one of Tony Soprano's MADE guys!

Bone Fixer, awesome looking 'Cat! Yes I had quite a few friends in VF-154 back in the day! Beer

Thanks a bunch Stikpusher! Big Smile I am leaning towards a 1/48 R/M Spitfire Mk. I/II so I can cross thread with the RAF 100 Year Anniversary GB but it depends if my parts from Revell Germany come any time soon. Huh?
