Thanks for the info Stehen. Deffinetly going to have to add one of these.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Thanks. The nozzles look great as well. Love the lighting effect. Too bad the they didn’t include a cockpit light.

Another nice looking B-Wing Nuc. I like those engines.
Nucmedtech, it's looking good. What color is that?
Steve: That looks awesome! I hate PE and an entire model out of it scares the krap outta me. Congrads on getting her done!
Cary & Stephan: Great job there guys!!!!!
Nick: Good luck with the popcorn bucket! She's coming along great so far.
Those Strykers are nice ships and a pretty good size also. I also like that photo-etched tie. Seen those at hobbylobby, might have to pick one up. Speaking of being at the lobby, I got a great deal on the Luke in stormtrooper uniform. Final mark down price was $3.99.
But, onto current topic. I have done a lot of work on the B-wing, here is the engine pod.
And if you want to light it, it would look like this. After this I completed the top fuselage. I will need to fill some seems. But I went ahead and put the rest of the ship together. So, I still need to fill the seems and weather the ship.

I like the look of that Steve, nicely done. I'll deffinetly have to grab one of them.
Thanks for posting that, i'll get one added to the front page.
Bish,
I'm done with the TIE fighter. It was quick but fun. Amazing little kits and highly detailed.
It took me 2 days only because I started late and needed to stop for bed.
Here are some WIP pics.
and completed pics.
As usual, use whichever pic you want.
Thanks for another cool GB. I'll get to another Airfix if I can clear the bench.
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Cheers Cary. I was actually tempted to leave it in the bear metal.
That B-Wing looks really nice. I like how the cockpit and wings can be moved but it doesn't look gimicky.
Modelcrazy and Silentbob, them’s some nice Tie Strikers. I built the 1/144 version but might have to do 1/72 now, thanks to you two.
Bish, the tank looks good, and with that paint job, it looks very retro. Like something you would see in a ‘50s “B” movie.
I’m coming along with the B-wing. It’s proving to be a typical Bandai build. Here’s some pics of where I am now. Ready for clear coat, decals and the dreaded weathering. I want to add some blaster damag and never having tried that before, am a little nervous. But I plan to experiment on an old B-24 first.
Nick, sorry, i meant to do that before. Done now.
Steve, got the TIE added, thanks again.
Bish can you add this AT-AT pop corn bucket to the list?
Nick.
Thanks Bish, that's what I was thinking. I just need to pick some up.
Really nice job there Steve, thats come out great. Like the colour of the base as well.
You need to cover the decals in liquid decal film to protect the ink. I use Microscales which i spray on the decals with a couple of coats.
Cheers guys. I did get the first coat of paint on last Monday. But it ceracked in some areas, don't know if that was anything to do with the hairspray. I tried a second coat and it did the same. So i have now stripped the tamiya off and will try again at the weekend.
On my bench: Academy 1/35 UH-60L Black Hawk
@SB, and Steve,
Great job on the Strikers! Dare I say they are quite striking?!?
@Bish,
Nice base color for the tank. It does have a touch of pearlescent shade to it. It's interesting to think what type of material this tank would be made from.

Bish, the tank looks good. I like the paint you chose.
Silentbob and Modelcrazy, the strikers are really cool. Bats come to mind when looking at them. I'd hate to have them on my tail.
Good work.
T e d
Oh gosh she looks awesome Steve! Both of you are knocking those TiE's outta the park!
I'm done with the Striker, to fly along side with Bob's. I wanted to add the Imperial insignia to the base. I printed it on decal paper and found my ink is water soluable. Does anyone have a soultion to keep the ink from falling off when immersed in water? I used to have access to a HP printer, since HP ink does'nt melt in water, but alas no more.
Use whichever pic you want. Now on to the making the fighter.
I added some spare PE to the, engine?? just to add some intrest. not that anyone would look.
Thanks Gam, I got the Striker for 75% off well before I knew Bob had one LOL.
Bob: Great job!!! The paint looks right to me and nice job on the space weathering! Just wish you had a nice space background for her...
Lewbud: Going back to the original!?! I've got a few kits I've been sitting on for twenty years or more but nothing quite that far!!!
Bish: Very cool looking! I'd guess the Trade Federation would use some sort of super-futuristic alloy to make these things so it does look 'right'!
PS: Steve: good luck with your TiE Striker and the Metal Earth TiE Fighter. (Sorry, confusing we have two Strikers in the build...)
Thanks Bob. I thought the gun metal added a sort of spacey feel to it.
I hope you can, but in the meantime will lok forward to seeing that 88.
Some more progress on the AAT. I got the hull together. It did need quite a bit of filling where the upper and lower hulls joined.
Then time for some paint. I wanted to get some heavy chipping on this for a change and thought i would give hairspray a try. So after primer i applie an alclad mix of Duralkanium, white aluminium and a touch of steel. Over this i gave a ligt coat of gun metal, trying to come up with something not of this world. The Alclad gunmetal has a touch of purple in it, very different fom the Tamiya gun metal i am used to. But i liked it.
So after some hairspray, i'll get to some painting.
Steve, lewbud, roster is updated with your new entries.
Bob, very nicely done. Glad it was a nice build, i look forward to trying it out myself soon.
Well done on having the first completed build. Roster is updated, thanks for shareing that with us.I hope you will be sticking around and maybe even adding another.
Well, I wrapped that one up quicker than I thought. This is a great kit, detail and fit are awesome. I'm glad I have more Bandai kits in the stash. Thanks for hosting Bish, and pick whichever one you want for the front page.

I was wondering if this had started yet. I'd like to join up with my perpetual entry of MPC's 1/48 ROTJ TIE Interceptor, which I think I bought shortly after the movie came out. Perhaps this build will see it done.
