mustang1989 Some more progress. In the last week it's been mostly build up and getting things ready for the painting stage of the build. Looks like the wing/ fuselage fit is gonna be pretty good on this one. Good ol' Tamiya kits....just can't beat 'em.

Looking great there joe, nice to see it coming together.
Yayyy! It worked. Lol. More later.
Let's see if this works...
In case it does, I'll add more later. I'm actually at the point of joining the fuselage. Decided to work on both variations at once.
Looking good Joe. Tamiya is known for their great parts fit.
I‘m still in limbo with my garage full of stuff from two projects for the wife so barely any room to move in there means no airbrushing till the mess gets out of there. Two rooms are getting vinyl planks and man they look awesome and super easy to install.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
yup starting to get that bull shark look .

Thanks for all the kind comments on my 210. not a bad kit, only 2 things were kind of screwy, the long split down the canopie and the spinners didn't fit very. I'd almost be willing to try Italeri's Me 410. Lol

John: She looks fantastic! Great job all around, love the camo and mottling, and you did a perfect job on the complex greenhouse canopy!
Wingman: Glad to hear you're better now. Yeah, that term got banned because a certain troublemaker used it as one of his favorite words.

Bish Good to see you back wingman. Was it a 4 letter word that starts on M and ends in O. I can't recall exactly why that word is blocked, but it does go back a few years.

Yes sir, I believe you got it. And I kinda remember that now. Maybe it's too close to an abbreviated slang word. Hehe
Thanks and I'll get some pictures up soon.
Great progress here fellas.
John: Your 210 looks AWESOME bro!! I've always liked the look of this aircraft and you've certainly replicated it well. I've got the Meng 1/48 scale bird in the stash. May have to break that one out.
Hmmm, I see stars. I didn't say a bad word. Don't know why they didn't like it. Sorry. Just another term for getting back in the groove. I hope that's not offensive...
Hi guys, sorry for going AWOL. I started with the best of intentions. We all know how that goes...
I got very sick maybe a week after we started. Not COVID, just run of the mill flu but it was rough. Then I couldn't access my photo host. Should have just moved on, it's free, but I'm stubborn. Next, had a big blowout with my girlfriend and had to move. It's taken a while to get packed, moved, unpacked and set up but I am. Now I'm trying to get my *** back. Finally got the paint booth operational and shot some paint the other day. Hope to break out the glue soon.
I'm going to get caught up on what's going on here and get back at it. Will try to have some pictures soon.
well done there John
Beautiful build John. Your mottling came out so much nicer then mine
Excellent build, John.

Simply outstanding!!
Gamera Nick: The NM on the 104C looks amazing and looking forward to seeing how the pre-shading on the 104G works out. Hoss: Wow, now that's a colourful 109. And the cockpit looks beautiful- great work there!

Looking good there Nick, love the look of the NMF.
Hoss, got you adde. Nice choice of scheme and off to a great start.
I'd like to jump in with Heinrich Bartel's Bf 109G-6 based in Greece in November 1943. Rot dreizehn is a pretty snappy scheme that I've wanted to do for a while. White trim, red markings, spinner spiral and sawtooth Erla wing camo -- what's not to like? When I saw the group build, this project jumped ahead of several others on deck. I'll also be posting in the aircraft section.
There are quite a few photos of this plane on the web, including this one in flight.
Heinrich Bartels was a 99-victory ace. Here he is after tallying his 70th victory.
I'm using Tamiya's 1/48 kit with aftermarket decals. I'll be using a few aftermarket goodies including the guns. The main paints will be Mr. Color lacquers.
The office is complete.
Gamera. many thanks, that me looking very good.
Mustang. thank you, those cannons are impressive looking.
Zevezda. that moving along nicely.
my latest pics on the f-104c.
I started on the f-104g with some preshadeing, still need to add some more drk gray and white.
Mustang: She's lookin' good! I've found it's often easier just to destroy the detail in places like that and rescribe it later.
PJ: Looking forward to more updates when you get the time.
