I can confirm my SS box has arrived, and my giftee was sent their's last weekend.  I look forward to seeing it built, I had to fight the urge to buy a 2nd for me...

My SS delivered yesterday!

And conversely, I've put Santa's gift in the mail this morning.

Got a box in the mail today with a return address from Mega hobby, and I don't have anything coming from them.  Suspect it's the SS gift, but it sure got here in a hurry.

Will wait till the day, just in case.....

***Edit***.   Just got notification that my gift has shipped by brown elf and supposed to be delivered by blue/grey elves.

Megahobby has always had amazingly fast shipping....I just thought it was because I'm only an hour away from ther warehouse....I guess not! Lol

My last Mega order took awhile to get here (60 miles from the Pacific).  This one must have caught everything that smokes at the last second.  Lately USPS hasn't been known for efficiency or speedy delivery.

Anyway, thanks SS.  I'll be fighting the temptation to not open till Christmas .

I received mine today, as well!  It started with my wife yelling at me for ordering even more stuff from the South American jungle, so I began to open it.  Luckily, it was wrapped in a "special gift bag and ribbon" so I stopped there, when I saw the card tied to the gift bag....

I will probably wrap the one I'm sending, which (I hope) is now on its way to me. Based on the location of my recipient in proximity to myself, the extra leg of the trip may be acceptable...again, I hope.

Looks like many gifts will be unwrapped, some wrapped. Let's all assume that they are all not wrapped and prepare properly. Have a spouse or signifcant other open the boxes and check, perhaps wrap it for you. Anyway, lets all assume no wrapping and we will be safe.

why can't we pretend that the shipping box is the wrapping paper!  Lol!

I know I will keep mine in the shipping box until Christmas Day!

My giftee is going to have to have the other half open and wrap if they want pretty paper and a bow.

Since I no longer have one of those, I'll just leave it as it shows up till the day.

I dig shopping for the Secret Santa gift.   It's fun trying to find something nice for a complete stranger more or less.  Super fun.

i would have loved to have had it shipped to me, and then sent it out with a personal note, or something, with the shipping woes and what not,I played it safe and just had it drop shipped.

but, to my recipient, i hope you have a wonderful holiday season, and it has been wonderful to search for the perfect gift for you-have as much fun building it as I did selecting it!

 Merry Christmas!

Anyone know of any good stores I should order from?

I haven't really ordered anything from the US since I'm up here in Canada.

Sprue Brothers, Hobby Link, Scalehobbyest. Andy's Hobby Headquarters is having a good sale.

I would add HobbyNut models to that list as well. A good sale on now and I've gotten good service from him.
