Still plugging away! Just took a few new pictures, too- only have to drop them off to get developed. I'm just filling in the cracks with putty & doing the complimentary sanding.
All of the parts are attached, save for the deflector dish & bussards (which I always leave off for ease of painting) & the bussard spikes. (Thought I'd add those "just because" it's early TOS!)
Everything looks pretty good, though the port nacelle dried a bit off kilter, but it's hard to tell unless you scrutenize it closely.
Found a great piece for the "bridge ring"! It really pays to throw
everything into your "bits box", as the lens & outer ring from an old digital camera look
real good!
Next step is painting, which will be a real process, as I have all three versions of the E plus the 2500 version waiting in the wings to paint. I'll try mixing up a big batch, varying the paint a little for each of the three sets (E's, early NX, 2500).
