Ok, well I got some pics of my Bf-109G started but with the new "Internet Cafe Pro" software at the Liberty Center here on base it won't let me load into the computer!Angry [:(!] So I need to find someone to let me use their terminal and put the pics on floppy or whatever. I did have to switch kits, as I couldn't find the instructions for my 1/32 Hasegawa Gustov. It's the 1/48 Revell kit from '90. I didn't do anything special to the cockpit except add a harness and put an extra Fujimi G-6 instrument panel decal over the rather basic kit one. It was actually pretty effective.Big Smile [:D] The fuselage is being put together now but its rather tricky since I'll have to do it a bit at a time due to warpage, mis-matched panel lines, ect.[:0]- Calvin

I had to trim the vacuform canopy . It was a whole piece and I only needed a part of it. This canopy is extremely flimsy. I thought this thing was going to break wiith just a slight pressure. Oh well, I did it into some future and its in the process of curing. The step of masking it will be the next step. This is the step that I messed up the orignal.

Hahh, the group build that I refuse to let go.Big Smile [:D] This plane is one of those you have to stop working on to allow fustration to be built on another project. The end of the charger( pictured with the tip of the pencil ) was accidentally cut off.Shock [:O] After some thought I was going to let it go and not do anything about it. But the more I looked at it the more I just had to fix it. So I bought all I need to make another replica...RTV rubber, the activator and the resin and even the lago's. After reading the May issue of FM "How to cast your own resin parts, I decided to go ahead and try it. This will be my first time. I thought I just share my first experience with you all. Hope it comes out ok.

Well I just posted this on the wrong group build oopps. I decided to do a one piece mold. The directions indicated that a light blue color RTV will take a longer time to cure than a dark blue colored RTV. Considering this the RVT mold will probably take about 4 plus hours to fully cure. Since this is my first time I am really looking forward to see how it turns out.Big Smile [:D]
