Hey pmm736! That's the exact decal sheet I just received a few days ago from Meteor Productions. They call it a "Limited Edition" but they must still have a few of them in stock.

Still waiting on my Aires cockpit and Decals from GM. The decals are holding up my order. If they don't come in by the middle of next week I'm going to hit the send button so I can get started.

Yeah, I've just done the cockpit and glued the fuselage together. Now I just need to find four or five extra hours in the day.

Anyone?

I'll have to wait a few weeks to start my build. Reason being I don't have a kit...... I'll see if I can pic one up from somewhere. I've built two Tamiya kits before, so I might try something different. Any recomendations on the second best 1/48 Corsair kit out there? I have the decals already.

Just scored a set of decals on E-Bay last night, so I cancelled the set I had ordered on GM so they'll send the rest of my order (which includes and Aires cockpit set). Hope to have it by the middle of next week so I can get started.

Daniel, The second best Corsair would be the HobbyCraft kit in 1/48. Not a bad kit, but fitting the flaps is a challenge.

Don't know if you're interested in dealing with E-Bay, but this set has markings for a Boyington plane in it:

Thad

I got mine from Meteor Productions and the sheet is Cutting Edge CED48226. It includes markings for all four of the planes Boyington flew. meteorprod.com

Haven't as yet started on my build but it won't be long now. I'm thinking after the weekend.

Joe, your progress looks great! I hope mine looks as good.
