Reb, 2007 is west coast. 2006 is mid west.

As for the club, I imagine Comrade Sergei would jump right in if he was here. hehe.

2006 is Kansas City. Last year it was in phoenix. Pretty close to you. Closer than Atlanta anyway.

Tanky that would be great! Man your going to have so much fun! Be sure to hit every vendor table, and bring an empty suitcase cuz when you leave for home you'll need the extra space!Big Smile [:D]

Nick, Stockton is about a 2 to 3 hour drive into fresno. I bet its going to go to OC though. Las Vegas and fresno are easliy in the 100's degrees in the summer, OC is about 70!

well, unless next year my family makes kansas city its vacation spotDead [xx(] I won't be going to the nats for quite some time. this year would probably have been the best chance, but i couldn't make it. hope you had a good time tanky!!

as for builds, the virginia and monitor are both painted, now being weathered, and the turret bunker is progressing well as well.

for those of you who remember about my dio I am planning, Scratch the drawings I made. The effect was not good and neither was the balance. I have remade the drawings and I am pretty pleased with it. Its now based on actual terrain, not my imagination. I'll draw one on paint. Only problem I have is that I cant decide to put in a halftrack or not.

I suppose it depends on the size of the diorama and whats already on it , as you probably don't want to over crowd it!

the bunker's actually made by this small company, tiger productions. its a 1/72nd scale piece, and while in the end i think it will look nice, certain features leave me questioning. firstly, its an odd shape for a turret bunker. although you could say the same for verlinden's equivalent. next, he added stairs on the outside, which i dont think ive seen on any bunker before, unless its an open toped thing. the roof was also made too thin, and lastly the casting, while alright, has got a lot of bubbles pockets, especially in the turret itself.

reb- how many other vehicles are gonna be in the dio? the tiger opel and kubel, or is there something im missing?

Gringe, Its a Tiger, Opel, BMW w/ side car and Possibly a - kuble, Sdkfz 251/1 Ausf D, or a Horch 1a with Flak 38 in tow. I'm not sure If Im going to add one of them and If I do which one? Sorry, I forgot the drawing again.

ok here it is.

Color code-
red dots, Figures
blue square, possible new vehicle location
yellow rectangles, deffinite vehicle positions.
Lime green- Hedgerow
Yello beyond hedgerow- grassy field
Black line, Ditch

Some note and a general story line. June 12 Normandy 1944 ss pz Abt 101 kompanie "?" Preparing for an assualt on the Villers Bocage area. on the opposite side of the tank, Wermacht infantry is pulling to the rear for some R&R. On the other side, Some fresh SS grenediers are resting and waiting to move out. 2 messengers on a BMW are asking a Wehrmacht stragler for directions.

need honest opinions here guys, what do you think of the possible vehicle location? Also, see any boring spots?
