ok I just got back from the LHS and it was very hard to resist temptation... they had a LOT of NA related kits there, SA 79's, a Martlett III in 1/72 (was tempted but I prefer 1/48), Ci 319 I believe it was... it was ugly, but lovable all the same.

I picked up a few colors I had been needing so as soon as I finish the Ju87 (80% done) I am attacking the Martlet and maybe the quad tractor.. it's been a LOOOONG time since I attempted any armor!

Also got some BMF and am going to try Tweets method of masking on the canopy. Although it doesn't look that much harder than a SBD.

Hey guys!

I am proud to announce the face of my first ever figure model is finished!
Agreed, it's not the best I've seen, but practise makes perfect.

Cheers!

actually I was going to come back and tell the truth on ya Tanks... the original message said "All you guys working on Kremps to go out with ya better watch out! That's my woman!"

Honest Tweets... thats what he said... Angry [:(!]

(sticking to English for the common good and understanding of the group)

----edit----

but thats pretty good Spanish Tanky... stick around a little bit and I might even teach you the dirty words! (like the translation of muddy, filthy etc...)

Tanky is getting all puffed up again and ready to try to smack us down...

"There won't be a tomorrow for those of you who don't work" is the loose translation of it...

Tanky - No tengo miedo, porque yo tengo "Kremps" por mí lado... la jefa ¡está! ¡Témala! La que puede romper bolas de billar con sus piernas....

(translation - I'm not afraid, because Kremps is by my side.. the boss lady is here! <roughly, "in the house"> Fear her! She who breaks billiard balls with her legs!)

I got my Me-109 together. I added a bit of detail to the Revell kit I'm using. I plan on painting it as a plane that has just arrived in theatre, before it gets unit markings.

wow, a fellow hops down to the barber shop to get his hair cut and comes back to all this!

Sadly the hair fell out of my paint brush... old age I guess... I've been thinking of getting it some of those implants but I dunno, they kinda look obvious. Oh yeah, I call him "Billy" ...

well I got the lower wings glued on the Stuka... cowling is all put together except for the prop so I whould be able to have a go at painting tonight... just gotta glue the upper wings surfaces on and BAM!!!

Ok there I talked about modeling too...

Hi guys, I'm still in transition to the new place but I'm settled down for the moment and might actually get some modeling done between looking for houses.

Jules, I picked up an Academy 1/72 early p-51 mustang (the North Africa issue) on my way out to BC in Calgary. Just didn't think I'd have room for that 1/32 Bf 109 in my current living quarters.
