the funny part is some years later after we married, I ran into a now 7th grade (about 13 yrs old)student who was in the same class my wife taught when we met... the kid went on to say "I knew you two would end up together... thats why we broke the computers so much so you would have time to talk to her"
it's pretty bad when your destiny is dictated by 8 year olds!!

Tom, now that's a great story
, isn't it weird how things work out. I met my wife at Karate after she decked me with an uncontrolled roundhouse kick to the head
Tweets, ditto Jules. Sorry to hear about your lack of build time, I just hope your time is being taken up with something positive.
Rick lovely build as usual
. Ok now for the obvious question, what technique did you use on the green splotches ie air pressure, thinned paint etc, etc...
Progress update, the interior of the 109 is just about done. Just a couple of small details to paint in the fuselage and it's close up time. I've go to admit I'm pretty happy with the IP, I used a little variation on my basic method and it turned out quite nice IMHO. What I did was base color (RLM 66) followed by black in the instruments, followed by a Future coat, then a black wash around the instruments, then dry brush the instruments with chrome silver (I normally use white), then a flat coat and finally a drop of Future on the instrument faces. The chrome silver when covered with a flat coat is a lot less stark than white and gives a nicer look to the IP. I'll try and take some pics tonight.
Cheers
