                        I was able to start the little BI-1 today. The instructions call for a light grey interior, and because I have no idea of the actual color, I'm just going to use my standard grey primer. It'll work well enough, I believe. I should get some some pics of the completed inside soon. (This little bird isn't gonna take long at all!)

                        You need to install some AAA to protect the SAM site from Labs. A ring of water spray bottles is usually effective.

                        Vertical stabilizers are on as well; pilot still needs to be finished before installation in the cockpit. Then I can button up the fuselage and start filling seams. Big Smile [:D]

                        Estimated start time on the Farmer should be 4th of July weekend...just finished an Me-262 and am about to crack an X1 for the OOTB GB. Want to get the rocket plane rolling before I start the MiG...Really looking forward to this one though...checked out the PE fret...this is it's own kit, should be interesting fer sure...Lately it seems if it were not for Group Builds I would not get projects completed!!!

                        Which SA-2 are you building? I built one of the old 1/72 Airfix kits many years ago and have another one still in the box. I also have the Trumpeter 1/35 version with launcher and the one with the transporter truck that are still in the box. I keep looking at them and wanting to start. They keep getting pushed down the priority list by Mig Group Builds that some "armour guy" starts up. Big Smile [:D] Evil [}:)] Wink [;)]

                        I personally can't start for a while. There are 3-4 kits I have to finish up first... I'll be starting by august for sure though... hehe. I'm going to add a resin ejection seat to my su-27. It is from cutting edge and is SUPREMELY well detailed.

                        But first i must finish Bf-109, T-90, Fw-190, SA-2...

                        Yeah Tanky I'm looking forward to startingThumbs Up [tup] The Academy I-16 is apretty simple kit and there isn't much point adding any extra detail in the pit except the seat Belts cause none of it will be seen when the fues halves are closed, I am gonna add some rolled PE gun barrels and ring and bead sight to try and spruce it up a little though.....

                        I'm rarin to go Tanky, but I probably won't be able to start for a couple of weeks. I've got 3 other builds going on & that's my limit. Should have at least one finished next week, so then I can start looking at the Mig.

                        The Revell Foxbat just arrived in the mail yesterday, and looks a bit dated. All raised panel lines which are a pain. I've never rescribed a model before so this may be a learning experience.Black Eye [B)]

                        I have built a few stovepipes over the years, but mostly 1/72 scale. The Mig 21 will be something a little different for me for sure.

                        Don't worry people, I'm still here! Just a bit snowed under, what with uni exams and 4 other GBs going.....well, at least I don't get bored too easily! Only problem is, even when I get some time, I have to get money!! Having gotten my licence and started uni in the same year, it's hit pretty hard on my bank account. Not a lot of $$ to spend atm other than on travel to/from and uni textbooks! Oh well, I'm sure I'll get through it...
                        However, I'm still here, still planning on building the Foxbat. What are the start finish dates please?
