Tom I'll take some photos when I get it and give you a look at the canopy. BTW, 80 days is a good idea, but I don't think we'd make it somehow.

Tweets Like Jules said, the camo is up to you. Just as long as you let Dave know what you're doing so he can decal it appropriately.

Jules Just sent you an email mate. Can't wait to start this thing.

Well, these are the decals I have, You are most welcome to use them, I could send them to Dave as he is the decal stop on this one. These are very nice decals, I put them on an unfutured bf109 many years a go and they really sucked down nicely! If you don't need the markings of the other aces I could just send the crosses. I also have a detail set showiing where all the hatches and stuff are, have a look.

Tweety, I like the squiggle camo too! I'll definitely be watching this one with interest.
have a look and let me know. Smile [:)]

Tweets Got your email and I do not actually have any of the decals myself. Will gladly order some if you REALLY want to do that squiggle scheme Big Smile [:D]. Whatever decal/camo scheme we end up using should be sent to you first so you can do the camo and then just put the decal sheet in the box with the rest of it.

Hmmm i like Hartmanns A/C too, i may have to do that one for myself......

Daniel i have your Email mate and the kit will me in the mail on Monday........
BTW ages ago i pulled the kit out of the box to suss it out so the spues are loose in the box, i might get some glad locking bags and seal it up to stop any movement, as far as the detail goes it's a little under average and the nose seems to be a little droopy but apart from that it's OK............

Tom mate iv'e had a look at the canopy and you should be able to use the BMF method on this one, just make sure you have a new blade and steady handThumbs Up [tup]

::sigh:: don't tell me it is the recessed lines Jules... I hate recessed lines... but I can do it!!! no canopy has whipped me yet! I was getting close to masking the Ju87 canopy so I destroyed the decals instead!! haha now there's no use for it...

Thanks Jules, I'll keep watch for it in the mail next week. BTW, What level of detailing is allowed on this thing? Do we want to do it OOB? Or, can I add some details to the cockpit?

Jay Thanks for offering the decals mate. We'll see what everyone else thinks on the scheme. I think Hartmanns aircraft would be cool. But so would the squiggle.......decisions, decisions........

Know the feeling, work is killing me at the moment after taking 3 days off to look after my ailing wife, so little chance of posting time then, and my other half has 3 magazine articles to write before next week, so no chance to get online!!!!!

Love the camo options, especially the Squiggle. BTW OWL do some great decal sets for ad hoc night fighters such as 109s & 190, well worth a look.

Not bothered on what scheme we go with, just looking forward to the banter, when I can get online that is!

I'd say it is your choice DanielWink [;)]
Thats the really cool part of all this, we get to choose what we do at our stage of building.
Big Smile [:D]
Of course there are limits, can't turn it into a 109 Float plane etc etcTongue [:P]

OK then fellas, I might do a bit of detailing on the pit then.

Jules Chuck the belts in if you want. I don't have any PE belts in stock at the moment so they would be handy. I was thinking of doing masking tape ones, but PE will be easier.Thumbs Up [tup]

Karl sorry to hear about your wife, I hope she feels better soon.

Ok without going back through all the pages of posts, who is doing what on this kit?

Cheers
