Sounds interesting. As long as no one dings me on how bad my WW1 plane looks, then I'll be OK. :)

I'm in please especially with such a nice time frame 18 months - cool.
Not sure on a model yet - sounds like a trip to the LHS required.

This is awesome, I’ve been waiting for member to start a build that had do with WWI planes, or all bi-planes. I have a Hansa Brandenburg D.1, I would like to enter for this specific build. I might enter a second aircraft if I have time, which I think I probably willWink [;)].

Hi everyone Big Smile [:D]

From reading the above post, I have decided to revise the GB time frame to 18 months, starting as of now.

I too have other GB's that I am participating in, and a longer time frame will allow a larger variety of airplanes to be built.
(I dont know how I am so stupid sometimes!!! Like I can build a staffel in 6 months !!!)

bstrump I hope that you decide to stick around, and participate in our Group Build of 1/72 Bi planes and Tri planes.

Take your time and enjoy your hobby. Dont let me pressure you no more Banged Head [banghead]

I have the Roden Felixstowe F.2A that I would love to do for this build but when were you thinking of getting going? If you can hold off until early next year, I'll sign up. With so many GBs happening, I can't really commit to any more until then.

Hi everyone Big Smile [:D]

Sign - Welcome [#welcome]

This is a group build for 1/72 scale Bi-Planes and Tri-Planes.
EDIT - This is not specifically a WWI Group Build
There are no limitations on manufacturer, model maker, or period.
There is also no limitation on the number of models you may choose to build for this Group Build.
I envisage that this Group Build will run for initially 6 months, with view of an extension to 12 months.
EDIT - This Group Build will start today (July 2005) and run for a total of 18 months, to end January 2007

EDIT - Re: Badge Please go about designing your own badge if you wish.
If you wish, you may use the badge I have in my signature line.
The only limitations on this are that the badge includes the title '1/72 Biplane / Triplane GB', and that it fits the specifications set by FSM management regarding the size of badges in signature lines.

I have an Albatros DV for the offering to this group build, and will set about finding another kit or two to add.
(I may consider building another couple of Fokker DRI's for my collection.)

I look forward to building some of the best darn planes ever to grace our skies with you. Thumbs Up [tup]
