Count me in.  A Revell Merkava III maybe, a Revell Panzer of some description, some Revell ex-Matchbox stuff, or even an Airfix Churchill.  I assume 1/76 is cool too?

Bought today a Revell, ex-Matchbox, French tank set, with base, also in German capture colours.  Wouldn't mind including that also

Hey Wulff, glad to hear the shakes are down, and the builds coming back up!  Looking forward to seeing your stuff.

Just musing on this GB.  How about making it post war?  It's just that, well, just about every armour builder seems to mostly do German WWII stuff, followed by Allied and Jap tanks.  Well, just an idea...

I know what you mean it seems that way due to the availablity of WWII German kits I myself plan to possibly build the DML LVPT-7 or some other more modern vehicle but i don't plan on limiting people to post WWII as i plan on doing 2 kits 1 possibly being allied WWII I believe removing WWII armor from the build would possibly steer others away from it. MyMy 2 cents [2c] but you do bring a very valid observation to attention TTFN

Well, I finally finished my JagdPanzer IV L/70. Built straight out of the box, painted with Model Master & Humbrol paints. The treads are a little loose, but overall, I think it turned out OK. It was a fun build, as are most of the DML kits I do.

My StuG IV late is waiting for decals & weathering, whenever I can get time off work and the wife lets me go to my toy room! Wink [;)]

Hey Wulff,

I like the idea of the two week build, but I'd like to request a free pass on the date.  I'll be in Canada catching Walleye during the second scheduled week of it.  I'm not sure that the border patrol will like to see my paint and compressor stuff on my way through.  :)  I'm wondering if I can start the build a week late and built the kit in Canada.  I can paint it the following week during the July 4th week.

BTW, I'm glad that things are going better for you.  I look forward to seeing your next kit.

Great looking build ammosid.  I have the smae kit for this build and hope its turns out as nice as yours... whenever I can get around to it that is.

Chris:  I'm looking forward to the Vacation GB.  Let me know what you want on the badge and I'll give it a shot.

Just my My 2 cents [2c], but awhile ago we had a Mad Leopard Build which was all post-war Leopard tanks from Germany. I got the badge for that one. It was alot of fun. I think I'll be a part of the next Mad Braille Scale Armor Build, since I have such a large collection of such Armor to build.

Meanwhile, I just got Dragon's Tiger I Late with Zimmerit in 1/72 scale. I think in a few days I'll get started on it for this Group Build again. I'll let you know.

Of course, this GB just states 'German', but not a period of time.  We all assumed WWII (although I thinking about building a Leopard as it happens, and seeing if anyone objected)

Osher,

Now you have me interested...either a Leopard 1 (like the one in "A Bridge Too Far") or a Patton in German markings may come from me.  :)  Why not the Pz. 2000 from Revell Germany.  Endless possibilities.

I probably should just finish the two that I'm still working on.  Today it is decals (minus the periscopes).

Thanks for the compliments on my L/70. Shy [8)] I tried to work on my StuG IV this weekend but all I had time for was to give it a wash of thinned burnt umber.

Would 1/76 scale also work in here? I stopped by my favorite hobby shop Saturday and saw that Revell Germany has some of the old Matchbox 1/76 scale kits, and I got the Wespe kit. It has the little diorama base with a palm tree. I also got the Puma, with a little street diorama included.

Also...how do I post my group build badge?

Thanks,

-Sid

Sweet.

I've dug up one of those fun Evil [}:)] little PST KV kits with a German 75mm gun (Pz. 753(r)).  I think that will be my next for this group build.

Robbioo,

I'm not a decision maker, but I like your work.  My answer to your question would be "both".

Hello all,

I've attached a progress photo of my Panther II.  The color scheme isn't all that authentic, but I've had fun working on it thus far.  There are 21 decals on this thing.  Each # has its own border decal.

Once the heavy weathering is done.  I'll post another photo.  Both of my current kits have to be finished for the upcoming show.  Trust me.  The green won't be so green when it is dirty.  I've named this tank "Spot."

...and we have a hobby for fun, not for work (or at least, I think that's the idea).  Good work!

Rooster and Robbioo, great work booth of you!

Robbioo, how was that DML Tiger with Zimmerit? I have one too and am considering starting it for this build. I'll be making Wittmann's Tiger as well.

Will:

How's the Tiger coming along?  I look forward to seeing it.

To all:

Here's my Panther II.  It is for the most part done.  I will be adding some pastels, placing decals for the periscopes, and touching up the dry brushing before the show on Sunday.  After building a few of these Hasegawa Panthers, this one looks cool to me with the big whopping gun.

My Stug will be done on Saturday evening...skirts and all...because that is my deadline.

That indeed is a whopper of a gun!

I'm slowly progressing my Attack Hobbies Panzer III F.  Here is a progress shot.  I'm not sure if I've over-weathered the hull, it's supposed to look dusty, with rustyish tracks (would that how one would really look?)  Any feedback welcomed! (it looks worse close up - and you can see some of those 212 holes I drilled!)
