...mired in unemployement....or as I like to say, "I'm in-between careers...." Hard to work on a hobby (mentally- when I should be/want to be working). Between that and the other family life responsibilities, I'm having a bit of trouble getting motivated. Might try some chalk pastel weathering today....or tomorrow....

I'm going to be starting my project either during or after the Holidays as I hope to have my P-38F and Bf109G-14 and Panther Ausf. A projects finished for 3 other GBs. That Trumpeter 1/32 P-40B should be a fun challenge.... resin cockpit, PE details.... I'm really looking forward to working on that kit!

News Flash: I glued my fuselage together!

It's kinda tough with the cockpit set. the front part didnt want to go together very well. I kinda got the cockpit in a smidgen sideways, so I have to sand the bottom down before I can put the lower wing on. I think I know how I can fix my flaps. I have some from an old ICM build that never really worked for me that should do the trick. Then I'm going to cast them so I always have the molds. I think I'll keep the master so when the molds wear out I can cast new.

The basic assembly of the P-40K is now complete, seams filled, panel lines rescribed, & airframe primed. Lots of seams to fill & rescribing required on this kit due to the modular design Hasegawa chose to use. The tail planes are a perfect fit so I left them off until after painting to make masking easier.

Now let the final panting begin !!

Nicely done, Rick. Looks like your panel line wash is a little wider than normal, but it stills looks good.
