Bud, I can't see what you're talkin about. If you are referring to thefoot rests, I'd say that's wear & tearBig Smile [:D]

Hey Bud, I think it looks good from here. Nice wear marks on the foot rests and normal looking wear on the side of the cockpit. Looks good.

Bud, you may be able to get rid of the milkiness by applying future, then flat coat again. What are you using as a flat coat? When I used too much Tamiya flat in my future mix, That's what my stuff looked like. If you're using a mix, dilute it a little! Great details though!

Hey All. Got some progress on my little Italian baby.  THis is my first attempt at camo so go easy with me.  I got a little overspray in some areas and hard lines in others, but i can fix those i hink.  Let me know what you guys think.  I got the landing gears already to mount and then it's on to the little stuff.

PS.  I also got a new camera.  Now i can shoot GOOD pics Big Smile [:D]

i've decided to buy an AM decal sheet, featuring *military marching music* Chilean Markings for a What-if Chilean Yak-3. but i'll have to wait till march to apply them, as i return from santiago the 28th feb.

Good Job for your first time! Thumbs Up [tup]  The best thing about a camo job is that NO TWO ARE EVER A LIKE!  If you look at some close ups of camo jobs (exspceially those applied in the field), many of those painters had the same problem on the actual aircraft.  I also like your color choices.  Looks very much as I remember the 'sand & spinich' (British name for it) camo that they used.

Keep at the airbrush.  You have a fine start to yet another skill in modeling.

Hey Mist, thats not bad at all for your first time. On top of that you picked one of the most difficult schemes to paint, that took a lot of guts. I bought the same kit a few weeks ago because I like that camo but I dont know if I am ready for it yet.

I have just begun my C-47 last weekend and working through getting the interior painted and work out. When it looks like something I will post some pics.

Yeah, you guys are proceeding well and fast!

Mist, your Macchi starts to look like it. Keep trying those smoke rings: they are a pain but well worth.

I HATE PHOTOETCH! E'vry time the same thing: buy a model, buy the PE set that goes with it and curse like a don't-know-what when trying to fit those tiny levers and above all when they make a "tweezers-flip" right into the "carpet-monster's" mouth!
Anyhow should start painting the office next weekend (bought the right color after all).

Since you want pics here you go:

Yeah- I've gotta get to gettin'! Between being sick for over a week, and catching up at work, I've not had any time to build. I've gotta get my P-40C finished that my son gave me, and then jump on the Spitfire Mk. IX for this GB.

Mist, your bird looks interesting, half smoke and half striped. Do you have references showing such a bird? As far as I know they were either or.

Eventually I managed to make some progress worth of that name; office is almost done (stick needs a little black):
