i'm really glad you liked it. i think i'll get another set of decals, to make something more... custom. but if i wanna do this, i'll have to wait till march to continue with the project. i also wanted to get some of this decal setting solvents, as i couldnt have the opportunity of buying some.

There's some real good modelling going on, here ... and some bad focus! (Big Smile [:D] just kidding)

As for me I started working on the Henschel, but progress it not worth posting: just put the PE parts in the "Büro" (office in german!).
BTW instructions say the cockpit has to be in RLM066 dark green-gray. I lack this color in my stash so I was thinking to give it a coat of dark green, wash with black and dry brush with grey (maybe "feldgrau"); do yuo guys think it would give the same effect?

Avus, RLM 66 is a dark gray, very very close to gunship gray FS 36118. If you have that , it will work great. HTH

UPDATE: I cut some parts off the trees and primed the cockpit pieces. My Bf-109 E-4 looks to be a sweet bird. This one might take awhile because college is kicking me where the sun doesn't shine, so it looks like only late nights on the weekends will be build time. When I get some colors in the cockpit, i'll show you all!

Thanks Drew, think I have gunship gray (who doesn't these days Wink [;)]) in my color stash so I'll give it a try.

Edit: Checked: no GunshipGray. So I guess I'll have to go to the hobby shop!

Well, the P-51A is nearly completed!  Here are a couple more prog pics - I still need to put on the exhaust stains, gunsmoke stains, oil leaks, etc and dull cote.  This is my first Acc Min build, and I am sold on their kits!  I have several others in the stash, and I'm looking forward to building them, too! Comments and constructive criticism welcome, as always, and thanks for looking!

Thanks for the kind words, jwb, and thanks once again for the kit, flippersdad, it has been a super build that I have thoroughly enjoyed!  Should have it completed in a day or two at most!

Well, how's it look? Personally, I think the Neut. Grey needs to be changed over to Gull Grey

and the pics themselves?

Lots of snow out there, and sometimes builds get put off for other things. Wifey and I spent a bit of time making this together after our most recent snow fall.

Finally got to get back to some model building (snow, work, snow, work, sister's wedding, snow).  Got the P-400 fuselage assembled and the main wings attached.  I have about a 1/16 gap on the right wing root.  Other than that, this Hasagaw kit it truely putting itself together.  Just need the weather to cooperate Banged Head [banghead] so I can get set-up for airbrushing.  I have two other kits waiting for painting besides this one.

I got a lot done on my Italian bird, but not enough for new pics.  Got the underside painted, and added the guns, undercowling and exhausts.  THe landing gear is painted and awaiting for my 1st attempt at camo.  Next couple of days should see some serious progress.
