07:15, there I was, mobile telephone waking me up (Fridays I can leave later, and still get a space), when the doorbell rang.  Decided to ignore it, and snoozed.  What a surprise when I left to see it a box of a model (as the customs note said) from America.  Cool!  Anyway, after missing the Nationals last week (and so getting the gift), managed to get it today. Something usual, but unusual...!  Will post Monday or so.

This is fun!

Well, thanks to Hobby Lobby's 40% off coupon last week, my recepiant got a nice kit My 2 cents [2c]

The kit has been wrapped, a card enclosed, and the box sealed.  Will go to the Post Office on my way home this afternoon.  Hope my recepiant enjoys the fun behind this Group Build, even if he has built this plane several times.

It'll be here faster than you know it! Enjoy the journey to it! Wink [;)]

I'll be sending out an email to everyone in the GB who I have not gotten confirmation that you've sent your gift to your recipient. Look for that later this evening.

Again- thanks to everyone for your support and participation!

Oh yikes, mine's not being sent for a few days.  Don't worry, I checked, and last posting date for Christmas is a while off, but I'll be posting it Monday 3rd I reckon.  It's 5 working days delivery from England to America.  Confession time (they say it's good for the soul): I'm getting my mother to wrap it!  I can build 1/144 scale models, but wrapping a present still confounds me.

My present came in the mail today! Big Smile [:D]  My daughter is tickled pink that there is a present already under the tree, but bummed that it isn't for her.  My wife is surprised that I am not opening it already! Shock [:O]

The best part; it is about the same size and wrapped in the same paper as the one that I bought for my person...... Whistling [:-^] I promise, I really did send my person his kit yesterday, so...... Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Maybe great minds do think alike? Laugh [(-D]

Jon, In typical Max fashion, I waited until the last minute to get my package off. The kit was a little bit for the box... by like 1/2 inch but it's in there. And I insured it. So if it gets messed up my Santa-ee can get his own version of it. But it went away, via USPS. So it should arrive in 3-5 days. I think he'll be pleasantly suprised!!!

When I got home from work today there was a misterious box on the doorstep?????. What a great way to finish your day off by getting a pressie.  Thank you mister Santa and cant wait to open it on the big day. This was such a great idea Jon, thanks for hosting this GB and to all who are participating in it.

Steve.

Yippee! Only 24 days left to Christmas!
OK, I know is still a lot , but at least it's less than 39. That's when I got my present.

Swear I didn't touch it since then ... actually I did touch and shake it a little, but the paper is still on!

Same here Mist.  My girlfriend hid mine but then I realized by accident that she is using mine as a stand to sit our small christmas tree on.  That way she knows for sure I am not going to open it.  She is so smart.Bow [bow]
