Cool, my lovely wife picked up the perfect shipping box for the gift.  Going upstairs to gift wrap the model box as we speak.  Cool [8D]

Music Man; Ron Howard was Winthrop who sang this (actually several of the characters did, but little Ron stole the scene); 1956 I think. Cool [8D]  And I only had to ask my wife the name of the character......

Don't remember who sang it in the most recent remake staring Matthew Brodreck.

I think I'm going to wait until the 30th to send mine out... Just so my Santa-ee isn't tempted! It's not that I don't trust him, it's just that I know I'd want to peek. Plus, I'd like to let him get his tree up and everything. I know we don't get ours up until around the 1st week of December.  There's nothing sadder than a present without a tree haha! I'm glad you guys are having fun with this.  I know I am.

I should get mine out in the next few days, just what to send?  I'm tempted to send a WWII jet, as it would meet the criteria of the GB, and I like early jets.  On the other hand, I'd like something American (as I'm sending to an American), but in British colours (being British).  Good job that the RAF used so many American aircraft.

She probably hid it either above the lawn mower Whistling [:-^] in the garage; or it is sitting in the corner of her office at work.... Angel [angel]

All my wife has to do is hide it in her walk in closet.  I'm afraid to even go in there, much less dig around looking for a hidden gift.  Blindfold [X-)]

My wife can just leave things out in the open. I'm so absent minded I miss things easily. I've actually brought in my own Christmas presents from one of her shopping trips and had no clue.

Of course, let my modeling supplies move a micron and I'm on top of it! Wink [;)]

Got my SS gift over the weekend.  I arrived home saturday after work and my girl friend was giving me that look that I had done something wrong.  She asked my if I had order anything online.  I said "no".  Then she pulls out this box.  Before she could say anything else, I explained that this was my SS gift.  I was off the hook.  Whoa, that was close.  Good thing she did not figure out that I had picked up a model for my self, when I picked up my recipeants gift earlier that week.  That well be our little secret. Angel [angel]

Gift is all wraped up and will be in the mail tomorrow morning.  Merry X-Mas!!!!Big Smile [:D]

What they don't know, won't kill us!  Me, I've got Hobby Lobby's 40%off coupon, and plan on going shopping this weekend.  I am sure I will be getting something for me as well.........Whistling [:-^]  Besides, we all know that it is almost 100% impossible to NOT get something for ourselves while shopping for someone else....  Just look at what your wife/girlfiend brings home this Christmas season, and see how many items are for her.

Man am I lucky that my wife never gets on my case about my hobby stuff.  I don't get on her case about her purchases either, we both work hard for our money.  Big Smile [:D]

I went to the hobby store today as my wife got a kids name off the Angel Tree at her work.  The kid is into WWII and wants models.... needless to say I volunteered to do the shopping for that one.  I got the kid a Flying Tiger P-40, a 1/48 Pershing, paints, glue and brushes.  Fun stuff.  Angel [angel]
