Doom, you say that the Tiger is your best build. That is a testament to how we learn from the people whom we read from and talk to. I feel that I get a little better with each of my builds and have more fun and also frustrations. The kits look absolutely great I really like the paint scheme on the helo.

Wow, it's been a long time, guys. School's been eating at my time like... I dunno... a very hungry man. So I just realized today as I was sifting through some of the posts (and reading through a very humerous fight, hoping to eventually find an embedded YouTube video of an airbrush duel but thankful that no one was hurt) that I haven't posted my 3rd and 4th builds.

Now if you'd please excuse the blurriness- my camera isn't very good. It might be better off for your vision (and respect for my building skills) if you view them as the smaller picture.

First, my Academy AH-1W Super Cobra. I was really disappointed with Academy on this kit and really wonder if they bought it from RM. I take it this kit is one of Academy's early ones.

I would find a better camera to take better pictures of that model but trust me- you're not missing anything good = )

Now the Tiger I. I have to say that I think this is the best build I've ever done. I left off weathering because I'd like to keep it that way.

Jolly good, gentlemen. Keep up the good work. (and senseless bickering- I like it)

Nuts!

A few more fiddly bits have coalesced into parts of a model.

This is my first time dealing with figures.  I am a little intimidated with the prospects of painting them.  Do they look like they are looking for lost arms?

Tamiya calls this piece a smoke grenade box.  However they left two sides off of it.  If I were not so pushed for time, I would make the missing sides out of some flat material.

A dry fit to figure out what I am doing wrong.  Turns out that I pinched in a couple of panels when gluing them up.  Nothing too bad, just irritating to make things fit.

I think that I am about ready to squirt some paint at it.  I have had a bit of a problem of the dropsies lately.  Fortunately the carpet monster is not hungry.  I think that it was sated with the box of sanding & scribing tools that it devoured!  I had to go buy a brand new pair of sprue nippers.Black Eye [B)]
