Nothing tastes quite like cat. When my beautiful wife was a missionary in Namibia she had the "pleasure" of eating cat - she said it was somewhat tough and greasy.

that build is awasome TG did you get plans and do it yourself and if not do they make other ball parks?

and as for the decree my wife read the post and said if i decree anything i wont have fingers on xmas to open up any presents lol

my buddy just went to Vietnam with his wife who is originally from Nam and he said he ate dog there and it is pretty tasty. i just dont think i could bring myself to eat something that is a pet to me unless i am starving to death.

by the way the wife has been keeping up with our GB and is realy impressed her suggestion is we should do this as a yearly build if we can keep it going

Given the size of some of our stashes I say making it a yearly thing should be no problem.  Don't think my wife would go for the Chiristmas came early decree but I know my 3 kids would.  Maybe if we all ganged up on the wife!Evil [}:)]

TG I spent some time in Chicago back in the 80's and in fact lived in Portage and then Chicago Heights for about a year total.  Lots of good memories and I made several visits to the friendly confines.  Impressive model.  Do tell where you got the kit from.

Hey razor, I'm just up the road from you. Highland, work at Inland, no make that Ispat, no make that Mittal, no make that Acerlor Mittal Steel as a mechanic. You know, it gets cold on the lakefront with no pants.

I got the kit from wrigleyfieldmodel.com  I tried to view the site just now but it's down for some reason or another.Confused [%-)]

Perhaps next year we could expand the GB a bit by adding pants and a meal of cat or guinea pig or some other sort of small furry creature. That is with Lord Kenny's approval of course.

Holy Cow!  What is it they say?  Miss a day, miss a lot...  I feel like I have missed a whole month.  I sincerely hope the good Lord Kenny will forgive me my tardiness...  This poor peasant has no real meaningful excuse, but will have to rely on the Master Kenny's understanding of the delicate balance between things modeling and things wifey and baby-ee...  I was restoring the balance, as it were.

I have a kit or two to add to my stash, sorry IL2, but I will wait until I have them all identified and not post them in onesys and twoseys.

Things seem to be really shaping up.  Can't wait for election day.

no problem at all boyd i understand about the queen and the little prince or proncess you have at home same deal here. the queen rules the roost i just get to pretend i do lol .

mmm now eric about adding pants to our build i am sure we can scratch build them but how long before they are confiscated by our royal hienesses at home as contraband and we are sent to the dungeon with no Super Glue or paints to play with Banged Head [banghead] and as for eating the guinie pig that is actually pretty tasty i had that once (didnt know it right away) and it wasnt bad at all. and if my royal hieness finds out i am eating household pets i think she will call PETA on me and off to the dungeon again lol

i am getting excited things are getting close and the wife is being awful teasing me about the gifts and my darn pants are no where to be found :)

First off Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to our little Group Build.  Just don't Do not feed the trolls [troll]  You'll figure that out as you read everyone's emails..... Laugh [(-D]

BUT you gotta wait till we all vote on what kit of your we want to see you build..... Whistling [:-^]

As far as the photo(s) images in your Sig; in the "Update Profile" link on the top on this page, you will go to where you can update your personal information.  There you will see a "Signature" section.  This is where you would like to a location (such as Photobucket (its FREE)) for the little icons that you see everyone showing off.  THis is also where you can link to a little photo that you want to use as your 'logo' image (mine is some F-16 Thunderbirds)  Keep in mind that the photo is small, so not too detailed is best.

Uh-oh...  This peasant has been a very naughty boy.  I seem to have added more kits to my stash over the weekeend, with a couple more being added today.  I plead mercy from the high-exalted kenny for these foul acts.  Please show compassion when dealing with me.

Lord Kenny, I am but a simpleton and so easily befuddled, Please answer a question that hath been beset upon my noggin'. Are we allowed to buy am parts after our kit has been selected or do we use just what is "in our stash" to complete it? Your lordly wisdom will greatly illuminate this humble model builder. BTW where can I get these pants you speak of? has anyone ever seen them?

A moment of your time, O Gracious Lord...

This humble peon just wanted to wish all the participants in the group build a happy holiday season (whichever holiday you celebrate, if any) Make a Toast [#toast]

I am sure with the hectic times, many of us may not get to check in too much over the next week or so, but I know that I am really excited to get this one going.

And to whomever suggested that this be an annual event I say, Dub that Group Builder a Knight!!  A fine idea if ever there was one!!
