Welcome, Mrs. Guido! Everyone is learning, even those of us in the hobby since grade school.  I've been building on and off for 16 years almost and I still have questions.

Hello, since you are all eager to have me in your GB, it seems that I don't have much choice in the matter Smile [:)] So I started working on the Carrera GT yesterday, and did some work on it today, this is what I have so far...

All the paints used are either Tamiya acrylics or the Tamiya rattle cans.

This is not my first project, but it has been a while since I've done some modelling.

Welcome in, Pat!  That engine came out perfect.  That bodes well for the rest of the project.

Thank you for the nice comments, I'm just trieying to do my best.

Yesterday I was able to install the engine into the frame and I have also done the front suspension.

Next thing (maybe today if I find the time) will be the rear suspension, followed by starting the interior.

"Your best" is very impressive. It is very nice and is coming together very quickly.

Thank you for the nice words.

Here is my next progress picture, the interior has been painted (the brickred by airbrush, the silver by brush), it is not yet glued into the tub, I only placed the interior parts in to see the effect it will have.

How is everyone else progressing ?

Wow, that is really classy.  I like the darker reds with neutrals.

I'm working on the deck and superstructure and deciding what I'm going to add and replace with photoetch.

Too bad to hear about the problems, are they of the paintjob- kind or more the build-up ones ?

I  was having some trouble with the paint, spray cans and all, running paint. I had to take the paint off with thinner  and sand some of it back down and now I have to spray it again  when I find the time anyway! i think I work too much!  Sign - Dots [#dots]

They say putting a spray can in warm water helps it flow better.  Good luck.

Please define, "kind of pregnant".  I always thought it was a case of , "either you is or you isn't!"  I know I am getting old, narrow minded, (some say feeble minded), and out of date with modern technology, but I didn't realize they had changed  yes or no to maybe.  Anyway,

Congratulations and best wishes.

Yay!! Congrats!!!!  Sounds like you have two "little" projects this year, the Chevelle and the baby.  Good luck with the little modeller.

I really dont think your profile pic really shows how happy you are supposed to be, plus you smell funny

It is only the intellect that keeps me sane; perhaps this makes me overvalue intellect against feeling

That fragrance is called, "perfume" and it is meant to offset the odiferous qualities of some males, especially when a belch gets blocked up and exits the wrong way.  Oooopppss, getting a little off topic here.  I think that you should go back to your previous avatar.  The red face paint makes you look like a more natural male.

eaaaaahhh, What's up Doc?  I have spent most of my spare time recently with my little grandson, so not much progress to report on the F-89.
