Nice job Rick.  And if the U. S. Navy does take as long, it will be worth it.

Well, a day late & a dollar short as the old saying goes, but the Wyvern for the old FAA GB is finally done Big Smile [:D].

Hope the U.S. Navy bird doesn't take as long Wink [;)].

Ya... know all about that one.  My work bench keeps changing location depending on the wife's "other" projects.  Sad [:(]

Sorry to report but work has not started Sigh [sigh]  My better half wants other things taken care of first, being a married man also you should understand...the honey do list.

Thank you very much everyone. There was a few more things I wanted to get done but I was spending more time doing repairs than actual work. After working with those rails and masts think I will build something bigger for a while.
I almost got a Hellcat for the navy air wing group build but someone got it before me, I'll stick to a Panther.

Darren- Sorry you didn't get any bench time in, hopefully next weekend! Thumbs Up [tup]

Alain- OUTSTANDING WORK!!!  The Sea Hawk really looks the business, and that Indianapolis turned out beautifully.  Looks like you added the PE railings to her as well.  I can't even imagine adding those, you really outdid yourself!  I am so happy you enjoyed your gift, makes me proud to see her finished in all of her glory. Nice work Alain-the Sea Hawk looks great.  And I like the ship-something I've never built.  Went on/in the USS North Carolina over the last couple of years while on vacation in NC-impressive ships indeed.  And the USS Indianopolis has such a history.  Nice work on it too.

Hi, everyone. I got the canopy of my Sea Hawk cleaned up. I used very fine sand paper to polish it. It still doesn't look to good but its much better than it was.

I also got the Indianapolis that Frank gave me for the gift exchange finnish. Thanks again for that I really enjoyed building it. I had never built one of tamiya's waterline series models before.

Hey fella's,

looks like I won't be getting any bench time this weekend as all my time has been taken up by looking after Tango jnr.Approve [^]

We've had a lot of fun today, but now I'm tired and just want to put my feet up.Wink [;)] I'll probably get back in the workshop sometime next week. Until then I'll hang round here and see what the rest of you are doing.Thumbs Up [tup]

Exceptional work, Rick! ....and the quality of your pics really give one a sense that they are looking at the actual model and not just a photo of it. Can't wait to see this one finished! Thumbs Up [tup]

Rick and Kilo.........Cool builds! I know so little about each of those A/C, it is simple for me to look past all else and admire the craftsmanship!

Thanks for sharing!
