Here is an update from TSWSIE.............

Got the canopy seals for the Crusader painted up and have installed some P/E details, these still need to be painted. I also painted the sidewinders, but I am not happy with them so I will go over them again.

Slowly but surely this build is coming together..........further updates will be broadcast as they come in.Wink [;)]

I must say that I believe that is one of the most barbarically treated cutting mats I have laid eyes upon! Darren!  The work however looks to be top notch!  Thumbs Up [tup]

Where is Nam!?!??!?! is he all moved yet?

Sean great looking kit!  I real special addition to the FAA GB I love the Malta Defenders!

I am happy to report that my kits have arrived for the FAA ! All have props as well!

Right now I must follow orders! Like a good soldier!

A few years have gone by since these pics!

I think the BC glasses make the outfit!

Welcome back CAG, good to have you aboard!  Let's get these barrels below decks in case the admiral stops in for a surprise inspection.  Cheers! Make a Toast [#toast]

Excellent work on the F-8, how do you paint those canopy seals?  They look quite convincing.

Aaron-Thanks! Yes, the cutting mat has seen better days-but I wouldn't build without it. A chap can get quite attached to certain bits of kit over ther years. Great pics BTW, its good to see a little of our selves on here.Approve [^]

Frank- Thank-you! The seals were done with those tricky Eduard paint masks-it takes time, but its worth it as this buld is going to be a special one.Approve [^]

Every time I post a photo of myself in my ever-present optivisor, Dave complains that he has nightmares. Disapprove [V] LOL

Darren- YOU have been a busy boy!  Top marks on that Sea Fury as well, masking looks absolutely perfect. Bow [bow]

Ha a little of myself at the age of 18 !  CAG!  I was a dapper looking teen was I not?  I know what you mean about being attached to certain tools and such. I actually love my little crank table much the same way!

I saw those seals very cool!

Frank you have me worried!

CAG Welcome back sir!!! I trust the flight was a good one judging by the barrels being rolled below! Great work on the gunfighter and seafury!!!!!Thumbs Up [tup] I aim to finish the 'bag soonish and then concentrate on the corsair again, then hopefully I plan on doing a 1/48 Hobbycraft Seafury in the mig killer markings for the new FAA GB. LOL I hope to do this by some kind of deadline, maybe the one i keep, better late than never! Well the new gf is an inspiration and wants to see them finished as well.

Aaron you look like a man on a mission!!!!!

Actually, we have been conducting Top Secret overflights of a certain Secret Workshop Somewhere In England.  We are trying to collect images to learn the secret of the CAG's builds, but his security system is quite tight indeed. Wink [;)]
