 Note immediately if you have been to Roden's website check your antivirus.  About 6-10 people at the Aerodrome .com noted that when checking a link on their DH 4 that the antivirus software on their computer went in to high gear.  Mine did too!   Fortunately  a decent antivirus will protect you.

1. check your antivirus "Chest"
2. Delete the contents.
3. Delete all of your temporary internet files and cookies.
(This is a normal cleaning procedure that everyone should follow.)

Marc-MAN!  Can't wait to see some more shots of that one.  It looks really nice.  Did you cut the control surfaces off, or was there just a big gap in them?    

OK guys, as promised, I am finally able to post some progress pics on my Eduard Camel. Fun little kit so far. These are also posterity pics, as once this sucker is buttoned up, not much of this detail will be visible. Been building it OOB pretty much with a few exceptions. I used stretched sprue for the ignition wires/plugs and the pushrods on the engine. The bracing & rudder control cables are also stretched sprue with small sections of 0.5mm brass tubing from Lion Roar to represent the turnbuckles. The PE 'wicker' seat is a dream. I used the kit PE, frame, and PE belt, plus added a few PE bits from my PART WWI seat PE fret. Painted with MM enamels, Alclad II aluminum & Tamiya, Pollyscale, and Vallejo acrylics. I extended the lower support bar on the IP with plastic rod to facilitate it's mounting between the fuselage halves. Once it's buttoned up, I'll cut them flush and drill them out. Anyway, critiques/comments are always welcome.

Next, I figure I'll be buttoning up the fuselage and mounting the lower wing & tailplane surfaces, as well as drilling out my rigging holes.

Definately an excellent job!  Just a heads up don't forget the aileron and elevator cable attachments on the control column. For everyone to appreciate the close  proximity that has been acheived here.

I am definitely planning on installing the cables off the control column you mentioned. This is the best reference pic I could find. It shows two cables coming off of the column, but I get the feeling that there may have been others....

Justin, Doug, thanks so much for the kind words guys! I'm really loving this kit! In fact, I'm loving this whole GB! These WWI birds are awesome! Having an entire thread dedicated to them and seeing such quality work from the best bunch of guys on the forum is truly inspiring!

    I have not tried a Eduard kit yet.  Looks like they have some fantastic detail ... I might have to grab one and give it a try.  They make armour also don't they... are they just as good?
