Hey guys can I play to? I would like to enter with a 1/48 Classic Airframes Lockheed Model 14 in the markings of the plane that Chamberlin flew to Germany for the peace talks.  The later start on the build date works out great for me.

Don't hit return after the first badge.  You can put a space but don't put the second badge on a seperate line.

Joe, I had a good friend do that for me. My computer skills are not very advanced. I'm lucky if I can load images into photobucket without screwing it up. Wink [;)]

Jay, right now we are looking at Oct-Nov of this year as an official start date, but cross-over entries from the P-38 GB are welcome to start earlier if they wish to.

....so it's great to have you aboard, Jay!!  You've been added to the list! Thumbs Up [tup]

Rudratt I don't see a start-end date. But since it is mutual with the P-38 GB, count me in.  I've gat a monogram P-38j in 1:48 with decals for Captain J.T Robbins' "Jandina III".  He had 22 kills in the South Pacific.  Not sure when I'll be able to get started on this one though, maybe well into the fall/early winter.

Thanks guys! This is the perfect excuse to build one of the new Revell Connies (or maybe two, they're small).

Mike,

This is a great idea for a GB, and the badge is perfect. I can't think of too many Lockheed aircraft I don't want to build. Can I get in on the action. I'd like to build a Connie.

LOL! Yep, so's mine! Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

2 will look awesome here, but 3 might be pushing it being as we have only 7 signed up so far, so mine will wait for another time. Wink [;)] Besides, I've been aching to build this 104G. It's the 1/72 RM kit, and I have tons of goodies to throw in it, including a full-blown resin set from CMK that covers the entire 'pit, the radar assembly, and probably half of what's under all the access panels. Big Smile [:D]

LOL... It was toss up between the P-38, U-2, and F-16.  I took a look at all three this morning, and that Falcon is just begging to be built!

Consider it done, my friend!

I sort of figured you might go that route for this GB. Wink [;)]

Thanks Mike, I generally focus on WWII subjects so that would hopefully explain my ignorance.

I can help you with that, Dave. Starting with the P-80, Lockheed's secret development work was conducted by its Advanced Development Division, which is more commonly referred to as the "Skunk Works". Wink [;)] Other projects include the U-2, the SR-71, and the F-117.

Mike,

I am going with "Kosciuszko Squadron" markings - a legacy of M. Cooper since 1919. The  "Question of Honor" inspired a lot of people to do a collection I plan to do as well.

F-16 is the last in the line - starting with Albatros D.III oef Smile [:)]

I have a lot reading but hopefully it will be all fun Smile [:)]. I am not sure about any PE or resin parts. I will have to rely on some more experienced fellows here for an advice Smile [:)]
