You're going to have to run that by the GB leader first, Mike! You know, get his approval...Wink [;)]

Ever since seeing the F-16 demonstration at the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends this year, I've wanted the F-16, too. What a cool bird. I'm looking forward to yours!

Super job Mucker!

I built a model for my dad many years ago for my dad for Father's day and I think that it is one of the most memorable gift for us both.  Your dad is going to love it!

I am seeing finished kits and I feel like I have ditched the build, too many things have grabbed hold on my time and won't let go.  On the plus side though, I now have one of those nice shiny GE-T700-701D engines and a flyable helicopter!

It's a beauty Mucker, I love it Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

As for the transportation may I suggest seperate vehicles.  One for you and the model and the wife can drive all the kids.  (yes, I know how that would go over with my wife Clown [:o)])

Hi fella's,

not much going on the the secret workshop this week as I've been working long hours again. I'm off now until the 26th, but I won't get much done because of the festive season.

So wherever you may be, I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas. Pirate [oX)]Make a Toast [#toast]

Not much happening until after Christmas for me at all now.  One positive note is that I finally got the set of Eduard masks for the F-117 that I have been waiting for.  I'll need the Eduard and the Tamiya ones as I need to mask inside the canopy so that I can paint in there.

Cheers

Yeah I know what you guys mean. I have not even started on my Model 14 yet. I have been sucked into a black hole called the Trumpeter 1/32 P-38 L  ! Will this kit never end. I must have been nuts 360 plus pieces! I really want to start my Model 14 but the P-38 has filled up every inch of my work bench so I have no choice but to keep going till shes done. At least I will have a place to put it when it is done. The local hobby shop owner has offer up a spot in his display case when it is done.

Yep....family life, work (in the retail industry), the holidays, and curling (in that order Wink [;)] ) have taken up most of my time, but I have a few days off coming up and am getting anxious to get back to the bench and to building again.

I think with the year end and Christmas break coming up, modelling time around the world is dwindling. We're all thinking of which kit(s) Santa is going to surprise us with this year. As for me, shovelling the driveway, Xmas shopping and watchingt he kids has taken away from modelling time.

I'm sure we'll see a lot of posts here come January.

By the way FeldMarSchell, Great looking Black bird. I ditto the comments on the skunk...nice touch.

Hmmmm, things seem to have gone a little quiet in Lockheed land over the last couple of days.

I've got to admit that I have done nothing on the Stealth since last week as I've been just too busy around the house and with family to do much modeling at all.  I might try and break out one of the sub-assemblies tonight to get back into things.

Cheers

Excellent work on the Blackbird Daniel! Bow [bow]  Very nicely executed, hope the one I build some day turns out half as nice as that one.  I also really dig your photo above the bench, same one I have as a backdrop on my computer at work! Thumbs Up [tup]

Ok first went on a coat of flat black, then heard about putting on some gloss so decals move easyer then.  After decals I sprayed on 2 coats of dullcoat.  Shunk is a nice touch! Thumbs Up [tup]

Great looking Blackbird Daniel, you've really nailed it Thumbs Up [tup].  Now tell me did you shoot straight black on that bird or did you use a mixture of other colors?

Also, I love the skunk on the tail.

Ok here's more picture's you've been asking for,  think I'm finished with this blackbird.  The dullcoat really does fit this aircraft very good.  I dipped the canoply's, camra window's in future.  That putted a nice shine of them.  Tell me what you think?

Thanks for the kind words guys, it's much appreciated.  The pit is not quite done yet as I still have a few bibs and bobs to put on the IP.

I've got to admit though, adding all those teeny weenie bits of etch is not favourite part of modeling.  I find a couple of hours of concentrating hard on those things really tires me out.

Cheers
