Taco-Don't worry. I just put on a light oil wash. It looks good but not to heavy at all.

Hellcat-That stinks. Just say it got hit by an IED

wow, that's terrible.  the IED thing was hillarious, albeit sad.

what's the new kit?  same genre?  if so, DIO-TIME.  have said new kit rollin past said old kit.

a challenge, but it'll pay off in the end

Well, I guess I'm done here at Junior Modeller GB.. but I still be here to follow until the very end :)

And I tought my 4 year old brother to not even touch my models without permission..  Just raise the voice and have a "mad-scientist" face expression to scare him even more.. Works very well !

Will do. Plan on getting a Gloster Gladiator and paint it with the Norwegian stripes,  just the same painscheme they had at Fornebu Airport in Oslo, during the german invasion Big Smile [:D]

Also, I plan on getting a Tirpitz 1/350 with some PE and such.. And a Mustang (Car) for my dad's 50th birthday. Other than that, I'll be pumping out everything that is meant to be on ground :)

And as said, I stick on this topic..

The bench monster gave me a good scare this afternoon.  THe steering wheel vanished into thin air.  I spent 1/2 an hour looking for it and then resigned myself to scratching one out of wireDead [xx(]. I Looked once more and lo and behold, there it was, behind my workbench leg. Thank God. My brother took pictures for me today so hopefully they should be up soon.

of course we care Raptor!  With out your 109, who will Huxy wildcat dog (or perhaps cat) fight with?

lookin' good.  You have MUCH more patience than i do to do such complex camo (that's why i stick to early war tanks...shh, don't tell anyone).

Raider, what camoflague are you going for? It looks like you are going for the Splinter camo type. But then all the lines shoul be straight.. if that makes any sense.. :)

And Taco, my Wildcat stays safe from those scary MG 151 gunpods of his BF109.. My Wildcat is in the pacific Angel [angel]

looks like Herman the German is headed east boys.

i've built a couple planes, I've got an on again off again P-51B in the wings (get it).  It's missing a canopy piece so i'll have to scratch that some how...

And to point out, what happens when you fly boys run out of gas?   VROOOOMMM POW!  crash, boom, much death, and wasted metal.  When will you propellar heads get down and dirty?

Taco Time you got it all wrong my friend, maybe this sounds crazy but instead of crashing, maybe you can put the landing gears down.

What are you going to do in a tank when you notice a bombs coming for you? KABOOOM!

bail out an' head for the hills, then hop on the next anti aircraft gun and look up.

no, i'm not building a russian tank (don't have one in the stash).  Herman the German is FUBAR talk for GI's in WWII.  They refered the luftwaffe as Herman the German, after Herman Goering.  By heading east, i was playing on the joke that the luftwaffe was headed to the FAR east, into the PTO, to dogfight huxy...

PHEWWWW!Dead [xx(] that was an overly complicated explanation to a simple historical joke.

You fly boys shoulda picked up on the Herman part (he is a WWI ace after all).  Probably the lack of oxygen up there at 30,000 feet.Laugh [(-D]
