Wow, what do you have hanging around that's unfinished? SEVEN?!? |
|
Lets see:
Almost finished (either assembly done or already basecolored): Italeri M4A1 76mm, Tamiya Pz IV Ausf H (old release), Tamiya M4A3 75mm (unfinished from Liberation of Western Europe GB), Tamiya M3 Stuart, Alan Pz II Ausf. C
Still in assembly: Dragon King Tiger (for Panzer Aces GB), Italeri Jagdpanther L70 (unfinished from the Hunters GB), Dragon Panther Ausf D (unfinished from the Battle for Kursk GB)
Oops that 8!! And I'm now working on an ancient Tamiya Pz III for the Vintage Armor GB...so I guess that really makes it 9!?!?!

Actually I think I have you beat. If I count planes, I've got 11 projects all over 50% done. Someone needs to put together a get-off-your-butt-and-finish-your-current-projects Group Build - either that or put the rest of your stash under lock and key until the current ones are finished |
|
Wow! You do have me beat Hermes!! The only problem with locking up the stash is you can always BUY new kits!!

I have had the same idea for a groupbuild to help those of us who can't get over that final hump. I have 6 partially completed build scattered throughout the building table myself. Three are approaching the 2 year mark! |

ANOTHER GB?!?!? I don't know about you guys, but I might need to go to GB rehab!! Honestly though, I don't know if a "get-off-your-butt-and-finish-your-current-projects Group Build" would actually work. I think I just need to avoid more GBs until Hermes gives me that swift kick!!

Hi Ernest. I built the Dragon JS-2 as my very first Dragon kit and couldn't have happier. I had no problem with the indies, my first experience with them. The only knock is with the upper hull being too close to the return rollers, but I never noticed until somone told me. The Tamiya kit would no doubt be an improvement, but is it worth the extra cost? |

Eric, I also heard (or read) about the hull/roller problem on the Dragon kits. I think the doog put some shims or spacers to get the correct spacing. I'm sure its not that difficult. I confess.....I just want the Tamiya kit because its new and shiny!!
