That is a really magnificent build Edmund. Tank, diorama all work together to get a maximum effect. Just love it ! The headlights can be a problem (still not  sure if I'm going to pull it off my ISU or not). I am going to see if I can get hold of some of the after market reflectors and lenses. How did you blow up you airbrush? Confused [%-)] Haven't had that happen to me yet Smile [:)] Er, what is the next build going to be ?

Ditto, what is your next build going to be? Also, that is some AWESOME stuff you've got there, I just don't know how you do it?! only build #6 and you are fast becoming IMO one of the best builders on the forum!

Thanks Julian that's very kind!  I was just sprayng some parts and I lost air pressure and when I took it apart the spring had expanded past it's postion and it was all over.

Funny you should ask what #7 is going to be.  You inpsired me with your ISU build and when I was at the Port Townsend modleing show I picked up a used Tamiya T34/85 kit for $5.00 so I thought I would practice painting my Sherman by throwing this together and using he same paint scheme you used.

He is going together fast here is a few peeks before I post him on his own WIP.  I will need all the advice and help I can get I have never built a Russian tank!  Mischief [:-,]

Big Smile [:D] Edmund, you are going to love building up the shades and shadows with a monocolor camo. You have an excellent subject to work as well ! Keep the photos coming because I am sure you will turn this T-34 into something special.

cheers,

Hey Rob how are you brother?  I have missed your posting and I was hoping you were keeping an eye on this one!  I am glad you like it!

I have a question for you and everyone else. Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg] Do you think I should keep the headlight on the front or replace it with a piece of broken off mounting hardware and rust it up a little.  I lost the headlight early in the build and replaced it but i got used to not seeing it and I like the look.  I am too close to it looing for an objective opinion.

Very nice work on this one Edmund! You'd never know by looking at it the problems you had to overcome. Onward and upward to #7! Thumbs Up [tup]

As for the headlight, leave it be IMHO. Wink [;)]

She's a stunner, Schnobs!!Bow [bow] Overall the build's a beauty, the fig is has got a great menacing feel, and the base is top-quality. Now I'm embrassed to say, I only just got the tracks on my panzer today.Blush [:I] (I'll try to get up an update later tonight.)

Yes, leave the headlight.  You're just noticing it because of your toils on this build

It looks good in place.

That's a huge compliment coming from you Michael!  I am waiting on your track tutorial because I am very curious what kind of 7 rings of hell a guy would have to go through to get those to work! Confused [%-)]

Nice collection of paints there Edmund, I see you are a great Vallejo fan too Approve [^] Have you tried Life Color paints yet? Especially the Tensochrome weathering (generic use here Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]) colors (see the oils stains on my ISU). Their olive drab with faded tints are very good  too.

Hi Julian,

I have both of the Tensochrome weathering sets and am presently having a very serious relationship with the Fuel color.  I used it on my Stug III Dio very sucessfully.

I will have to check out their olive drab colors.

I have to rush over to your post to congratulate you on a job well done Sir!

Me too Rick!  Thanks as always for the kind words and support!

I could not resist taking a few more shots in natural light today.  We have not seen the sun in about a week.

Enjoy!
