Thanks Bill, Rob , Jim, Bob, and Dave for the support and stopping by but I am going to have to disappoint you guys. I am scratch building two prototypes for the staked wood sides and to also include an option of leaving the staked sides off which I have seen in real word reference pics in Osprey Battle Series book.  I love saying the word Prototype!! Big Smile

I am trying  to get the gun completed tonight.

Here is how it would look with the stakes sides removed.

Thanks Adam and I am sorry you are having difficulties.  Your photos were not posted properly last night just a link that threw an error when I tried to access it.

When I get frustrated with the new changes and the poor performance I just remember it's a free service of FSM and to be patient.

Then I kick my dog through a hedge!!  Super Angry Just teasing he's a Miniature Dachshund and well loved!!!

Hey G I have always wanted to say that you don't get much of a chance to being from the Midwest!

Well to day is your lucky day here is another pic of a cammo paint scheme and two other pics of Breda gun trucks and you can see the mods they had to perform to keep the driver and passenger safe by building up the side and front boards,

I believe you are correct about the location of the sand mats.

Thank you Jim, Indy and Bob!  You make me smile everytime you post Bob!

I am sorry Adam I am not able to get into your WIP.  That would be a huge loss to this community so my hope is that it will be resolved quickly!

The performance on the new front end is abysmal and I am hoping that they upgraded the physical hardware as well as the front end or it wiill just get worse not better.

I do like the spell checking though!!  Big Smile

I'm not too happy buddy. Maybe you could see if you can. Is it a total loss due to this wonderful change they made to our Forum? Let me know if it's still there if you don't mind......................Crying

Thank you NucMedTech, Rob, Bob and Jim for your comments.

It has been slow lately due to our cold snap here and even with a radiant heater it is quite cold in the garage. 19 degrees at the moment!.

Build Update:

I have been working on final details on the cab and the cargo area conversion that is going to be required to convert the radio car into a gun truck.  Thanks Wayne (agentG) for your references I found a real ref picture that I am going to follow to the best of my ability except the stake sides will be only half way down the cargo area for the Breda.  I have also thought about leaving them off totally.  I have found some real world ref pictures of that that are cool as well.

Here are some in progress pics.

Build Update:

I got some great progress on the cab assembly tonight and drilled out my spare wheels I had forget to do that before I primered them so I spoke to myself sharply and completed that task.

That was my guess as well but I thought it might be a bank of batteries or something.

Thanks Mike & Paul for your comments.

I received a six piece Resin Tire set from R&J today which was les than 48 hours after I ordered them. Great service and great products I cannot say enough about those folks.

I cleaned them up and primed them with Tamiya Surface primer.  I took a couple shots next to the Sand Tires on my AS 42 so you can get a sense of scale.

Love tires.........................

I do plan on converting the Radio Command car to a Scorpion with the Breda mounted in the Tray and the radio removed I already posted this question but I will repost do you know what the following is and if it is a part of the radio?

I am sure you are referencing Model Military Interntionall November Scorpions Sting build article.  I am using that as a reference but I plan to remove the front piece in question and of course the radio and build up the greedy boards on the side so I have more room for Italian fuel drums and british stowage plus the gun.

Sorry, no I don't---but my guess is that it IS NOT part of the radio. I assume it is a storage compartment for something...
