Hi Again
If you count Wild Bill and Redleg that makes five of you, at least that's a crowd but you could give me a grunt now and then to let me know i'm not just wasting time posting when I could be building.
Yesterday I got started on number three in the series,a L/48(V) built from the DML#6589 kit with zimm.
This kit is going together like a Tamiya kit,the fit has been great.
More update later today so stand by for news

Grunt !!
( ps,,, another way to see if your build is being lurked... when your on the Armor page, it lists the followers and VIEWED.after your thread title.. keep watching the VIEWED numbers.. some of my stuff has little reply.. but boatloads of views )..
Great work Tony, I have a few of these in my stash so I'll be taking notes...
psst.. just after I posted, you had 1889 views !!
my Haunted Tank WIP is just over 1900...
I cked w Aaron once.. a short while ago.. a VIEW is anyone who has looked at the Thread.. Followers are people who have clicked " email me when someone replies" , but is also one who might not have posted. the so called "Lurkers "...
you may already know this.. ? pardon my post if you did..
Tony: Sorry, been following on and off. Didn't have anything specific to say other than 'good job'.
So I'll just say:
Good job! Keep up the great work!

Sorry, Tony. I'm a lurker, but also 1 of the 7 followers.
I love following your builds, because of the outstanding photo etched work you do.
You are never wasting time posting your builds, someone is always watching (kind of like "Big Brother").
Enjoy this warm Missouri weather, because it will always change soon.

Grunt Grunt.I love Jagdpanzers and have the newer L/70 in my stash. Would love to start it, but I recently finished a Pz IV and got burnt out on the roadwheels. Anyhoo.......I do like the family of them. Personally if I were smart, I should have gotten a L/48 because of the shorter barrel just conserving more shelf space.

I've been watching. I don't post a lot (if at all) but try pick up tips and how to do things from WIP threads like this.

I'm all over this project too, I like to watch quietly in the corner...don't mind me.

It's nice to see the comparison between the non-zim and pre-zim kits too, keep the updates coming Tony!

Like I said a "grunt" is just fine just so I know you're there. I'm not asking for the world here,a smiley face or a question if you have one,at-a-boys are not necessary even.
Thanks for coming by and the acknowledgements.
Break time over, back to the bench
Listen up, Number four in the series the DML#6397 L/70(V)
That vertical cylinder between the breech block and the swivel mount is part# G-5 and Dragon failed to mention it in the instructions
Not a bad days progress after all
Grunts Welcome
Grunt. This is the kit that I have. Nice looking. I haven't even cracked open my box yet. I don't do that with any sealed kits until I'm ready to build them. Kind of makes it a surprise when I open it.
Oink!
Gotta be different. I've been watching as well Tony. Dang fine work!

Not to mention it preserves the smell of fine plastic...
I'm enjoying your thread Tony. Armor is new to me and am trying to learn. Just hanging out in the back of the room...
Tony
Happy to know you both are hanging out with me.
Gets kinda lonesome around here with no one to talk to so sing out when you need to KZ
Thanks to you both

I'm still here too! With the weather breaking and a new CD in the works however, I'm not doing much modeling or posting lately. I am watching your progress though, and keeping my fingers crossed that you're going to see fit to do some "scale effect" painting on those yellow babes!
Keep going--these are looking awesome even in this early state!
PS--give Hans & Franz my best!
I know you are Karl but i'm short some gray matter, there's only so much to go around.
Road wheels are ready for paint and I even got a little bit done on the L/48 today.
See you tomorrow folks
Look forward to tomorrow's update Tony. You're moving fast on these suckers...have to be sure to check back or I'll miss it entirely.

Wait a minute... I am afraid I missed the number three?!?!? I need to read the whole thread.
Looking great as usual! Looks like number four is the easiest build so far I hope.
Andy
Bill I ain't "fast" just efficient
Appreciate your visits buddy
Andy #6397 and #6589 are the same kit only the 6589 has zimmerit.
Both are going together the same,GREAT
Thanks guy
Yes I got it... had to read the whole thread and it was still fun. I still like the first one with the 'see thru' skirt. Amazing! Apparently I missed some of your third build when I had to work over the weekend. Now I am back on the track... this is like a mini GB so I need to read little further back.
Keep postin' buddy!
I started building #3 this Monday Andy, #4 Tuesday, road wheels and some on #3 again today and back to #4 in the morning. Doing four models and not bore everyone you've got to keep things actives, I think??????
OK....don't get lonely. I have my eye on the midwest tank factory. Appears we have stepped up production....good week for the elves!!
Rounds Complete!!

I don't know how you do it Tony, I can only do one at a time.
Hey Tony,
This is taking shape and I do follow you. I just don't reply all the time. Sooooo don't feel lonely. We are all here like a Band of Brothers.
By the way I don't buy the "short on gray matter" from you. Gray matter requires a lot of energy and seeing the number of builds you have on the bench your not short. So keep using those gray cells.

Mike things move along faster when your building two kits that are the same. I just have to keep my reference book handy so I can be sure and get the minor differences where they should go on each one. I've already messed up once but i'll never tell.
David my work bench is an over sized Lazy Susan. Every 24 hours it revolves around to another build, ready or not. Really I have a TV tray stand on the left sides of the bench and I keep all the sprues and parts containers in the two halves of the kit box. When i'm ready to switch to another build I put the two halves aside and put the other kit box halves on the stand and pick up where I left off on that one.
Good talking to someone that talks back,Thanks for dropping by
You slipped in on me IB. What you don't use you lose they tell me and I can't afford to to lose much more of anything.
You get my drift?
Good to see buddy
