Yeah like all the others said. Very beautiful Chris.

Hmm that 1/32 Hornet is looking at me in a funny way, should I go ahead and start, or should I wait for that compressor. Arrh I also need to finish the Leopold, and I need the paint for the Hornet. Should I go OOB or should I get some AM parts, AAARRRHHH the choices, I can't handle it its too much. Big Smile [:D]

Yeah I think so too. I have seen some good online builds of this baby, and they are all OOB exept for the decals, but I already got new decals from TwoBobs. Besides I have already spent my monthly AM budget on some Aber PE for .......... A King Tiger ofcourse.

Out of the paintshop...ready to get dirty...I spent two nights scratchbuilding the interior for the turret... and you can't see much, but it's in there...much better IMHO than just an empty box...Now just some good weathering and get the tracks nice and dirty... and she should be "ready to roll" :)

Oh yeah, the green was a little over thinned...corrected, but put quite a bit of the RLM 83 on her... oh well.. :)

Looks great. Should dirty up just fine.

I don't think it's to late Chris. Most have not even started yet. I have so i would have something to do while waiting on some replacement tracks.

That's okay, the Germans diluted their paint with everything and it could be really dark or light like pea soup.

I didn't think anyone but Chris had started the planes yet. I have a preorder on the Midway Dauntless but will go ahead with 109 if it has started. Maybe I should, htere's nothing pressing at he moment (besides the two Tigers and the M4) and it would be a shame to screw up the SBD.

I just got back and was planning out the battle damage on my P-47. Other than that, no building. I was going to start today or tomorrow though.

When this one was first proposed, I recall they were talking of starting it after D-Day and some of the others had ended. Awasoda hasn't been around lately though, so I am unsure.

Ok, the mail man and ebay came through for me on a 1/35 Academy M2 Bradley.
This should be alot of fun as looking at the instructions... THEY'RE ALL IN JAPANESE!!! this should make thinks real intresting.
Now some questions. When it comes to Airplanes Im pretty good at finding reference material for my subjects but Im at a loss for armor. Usually I'd just go to the nearest motor pool that has what Im looking for and snap some pics. Unfortunatly Im at a Garrison assignment now and Im lucky to find a Humvee much less a Bradley so If anyone knows any good internet site that have pics Id be gratefull
We also need to set a Start/Finish date for this thing... less thats already happened and I was sleeping :)

Right. Okay my droogs,
I finally have a chance to build today. A quick look over the pile of undones and settled my glazzies on the Revell 109 for this shindig.
Just finished a bit of washing of the styrene, resin and brass and am about to set off.
Either I'll post a pic at the end of today's festivities or you'll never hear from me again.

Well it seems my Dauntless had a bit of bad luck. Seems that allthough it could do a dive bomber manuver quite well, it did not pull up in time. Nose first into the floor. Banged Head [banghead] Damage includes engine cowl knocked off, the seam cracked wide open down the rear of the fuselage and something is now rattleing inside. That was all I noticed in the couple of seconds I could stand looking at it. Hopefuly the seam will be able to be repaired without to much damge to the paint. To bad they did not carry tarps on planes.

Man sorry to hear about the diving Dauntless.
Jeeves just take control of this thing and give a date, since the other guy has been mia and no clue when he will be back. Gotta buncha people here ready or already started and a few of us done. Lets straighten this all out bro. Just take charge.

Only 5 hours to do the roadwheels Joe? Wow, how long will it take to do the indy tracks? Shock [:O] Bet that P-38 seems like easy street compared to the King Tiger. LOL Just teasing, you'll be fine.

My Panther took 1 1/2 hours for one side and 30 min. for the other. It takes a bit of practice. Good luck.
