VERY impressive work.

Hope your back surgery goes well, my prayers with you.  I may end up needing some here pretty soon, since my insurance doesn't cover the physical therapy that could do the same job for alot less money.

Thanks for your prayers, less money means Less care some times. "RRRRR"! Disapprove [V] I hope not M8, I'll let you know how every thing go's once I get home, and I'm sorry for getting Sign - Off Topic!! [#offtopic] here., but with all the post-op that I have had to do to day it takes a lot out of you. I'm now seated here and I'm trying to work on the add on's for the turret. Add on's are the MGs, flare modules, and some othere small details.  I'm thinking of adding the belly armor along with the [ATD]-Anti Tank Defences unit. Oh and I must say those Legend tracks are going to be a real work out. I looked in to the Friulmodel track links and I like the way they look, but they cost so much. An mini of the shops and Co. I shop at don't have them or there out! So It's the resin one's for me. Oh and I'm going to post all my work on them.

Well this is one of those things, that OT is more then Ok in my eyes.  I haven't had the $$ rally to be doing any work on much of anything, so I've been working on some of the cars I have in the stash, since I already have alot of AM wiring and such.  Combine that with the fact that I can almost do cars in my sleep with me going back to school fulltime, and modeling cars is about the only thing I have time for right now.  Also my school hours interfere with the club meeting hours so I haven't been there.  On a high note though, I graduate in December or January.

Yeah! Graduation Make a Toast [#toast] that's what we want to hear M8. Your the man and I don't mean the man as in the establishment. I'm glad to here your trying work on any thing wile going to school. Angel [angel] As for me right now I'm still working on the Mk. III till 9:00 to knight ad I'm going to post more photos. I have looked around the net and I see that a lot of the othere guys/girls that have built this version have all built it in three different way only. SO I found some photos on one that I know no one had build. Well realy there just details, just add-on's. Well I just hope that the items I'm adding or building gives some one a new idea on something to try. I do see some things I do have inspired otheres to do or add new things to there models. I guess you can call this a "Trendsetter"? Like you I have bean working on two cars, one from a movie called The Wraith and an Toyota AE86. SO good luck with your builds and keep your head in those books.

Hi White! Your scratch/conversion never ceases to amaze me, as does your dedication to getting this build done. It's been a time-consumer, but also a labour of love by all appearances!

I never got my Merk II finished -- I got as far as the base paint (I was never absolutely sure the shade was right...), then a dozen other projects crowded it off the bench. I'll get there one of these days!

I scored an Academy IDF Fitter recently, if you launch IDF II that would be my entry.

Cheers, Mike/TB379

Hay I'd love to start a new IDF GB. I'll get with the original host of this GB and see what we can come up with. My next big IDF build will be a Merkava IV Heavy APC. Yep that's right the new Merkava APC.

Now about my build I have finished it but for all you guys that like to see all the work I put in it. I added so much detail that will be hard to tell you all about all the detail I added so I'm going to take some time and post all the progress photos. SO here we go.

At the time I had started building the tracks using pins and now the kit wire.

Yep there's more, I later thought that I realy needed to cut the gun barrel down once more.

Now I had stop to kit-bash my 50. Cal to give it the right look.

the finished 50.

Now I know some of you may ask how it got those engraved lines on the large "Bore Evacuator"!!  An if some of you don't know what that is, go to this link to read up on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bore_evacuator

I used a pipe cutter, I tryed to do this by hand and I kep getting my guidelines rong. So the pipe cutter work realy well.

Ok yall this will be the last post for this morring till lunch time to day when I'll be back with more. Ok I started some paint work on the rear loading tanker. I used and Acadmey IDF Infantry soldier (Snipper version) for the pose and then I used tamiya two part putty to add a tankers vest to the figure, then I used tamiya white primer to cover him.

Oh guys there's a lot more to come, see you all for lunch. 11:00 AM Wink

I think IDF II wouldn't be a bad idea at all.  If we go and do that though, I'm thinking of making it open to aircraft as well as armor.  What do you think?

I'd be in for another IDF GB, seems like I almost always have something Israeli ready to go, or going......

My -6B-Gal is in primer now, so it's only a matter of time there.

If we do start something up, lets do it in the GB forum this time, makes it a little easier for everyone, and it may get looked at a little more. Another suggestion: allow models that have a small amount of construction started, or re-doing a previously finished model? Reason I ask, I have a couple of Magach 6's that I'm not really happy with, and a very small start on a bare M60 hull that I would like to use parts from the two finished models to complete. I's like to do a 6B from early in the Peace for Galilee operation.

Nice work, Vince, as always.

Plus the GB forum would allow broader participation.
