                        You will find this panel in manuvering, on nuc subs, control the reactor from there.

                        It is a reactor plant control panel. Whoever wants to ask the next question may feel free to do so. It doesn't matter to me.

                        I don't have any good questions off the top of my head, and my work is precluding any chance to poke into interesting reference books for an odd question.

                        This is a detail of a 1606 map by Benjamin Wright depicting the Thames River. Golden Hind is shown in ordinary, without masts and unrigged, near Deptford.

                        Thats a very reasonable guess - but not the ship.

                        This vessel was far smaller - yet equally dangerous. She gained fame for a single voyage that changed global politics. Her captain's name is equally famous.

                        In hindsight it should be obvious. Hint hint.

                        Hint: the ship is shown on the banks of the Thames. She was "in ordinary" there for many years.

                        I believe your avatar is the HMAS Sydney...sunk by the Kormoran in 1941.

                        HMAS Perth was sunk during the Battle of Sunda Strait in 1942 along with the cruiser USS Houston.

                        Sydney & Perth's only surviving sister was the HMAS Hobart.

                        How'd I go?

                        Ok Surface_Line.  Here is my Question. My avatar is a famous Ship because  something  happened to Her that did not happen to any other Warship. That is not the Question. What was her only surviving Sister out of three in the class. Two of the class sank during WW2.
