Outstanding work Bob, I would go so far as to say that this is your finest i have seen.  Very well done, thanks for finishing and sharing her with us!

As I went to update page one, I realized I had not added the details of your build.  Could you refresh my memory as to the kit/scale?  Thanks Bob!

As of this writing, we now have 30 finished builds here.  WOW!!!  Never would I have hoped for so many, and such fantastic work all round.  Give yourselves a hand for this one, you earned it! Bow Down

Thank you Frank.  The kit is the 1/48 Tamiya Fw-190D-9.

Again Frank, thanks for running this GB.  You do a great job-both building and running the GB.

Julez-your 190 is looking good.  I've got the Eduard kit in the stash but I'm not brave enough to start on it yet.  On a secondary note, if enough people hang around and keep building, this could be "The GB that never ends" .....or not....

Eric-Thanks.  I'm looking forward to an armor build but I'm learning to strongly dislike the Dragon instructions.

My Jadgtiger is the first Dragon kit where I had to dig up photos of the real McCoy to see where parts should go, so I can relate.

Instrument panel and cockpit tub installed this evening and the bottom seam of the fuselage glued together. I will get some pics tomorrow after the seams are sanded smooth and any lost panel lines rescribed. I will probably be able to get the wings and horizontal stabilizers glued on tomorrow as well if I hit no speed bumps.

Huge speed bump hit on Thrusday between family drama and home entertainment technical difficulties... ( looks like I picked a bad week to quit drinking)Toast But this morning I got back on track. Seams sanded smooth. Rescribing of lost detail in the next few days and then...

Great stuff there buddy, keep those pics coming!

I apologize for my recent absence, but family issues have come up and it looks to be a while before things settle down.  In the meantime, my phone is my main source of Internet and unfortunately FSM does not support posting via smart phones. Bang Head

I will do my best to keep up here and keep any changes to page one current, but please understand that it could be days before I can get to a computer to update here.  Thank you for understanding!

Thank you sir!

And for the first use of my aurbrush/compressor set up at the new man cave here it is... my FW-190's topside colors added with Humbrol paints. Now I need to touch up the lower colors.
