Hey GM: Beautiful! I can smell the salt air from here! Love the bronze look to the metal bits, the rubber look of the suit, the base- everything. All those rivets you added are worth it!

Shiv: You know I'd almost hate to paint him and cover up all the extra work you added! Very nice- as I said I'd have burnt out long before I finished there.

Tim: Sounds good! Funny, when 'Girls Und Panzer' came up sometime back I'd kicked around the idea of a fantasy team 'Belles and Hellcats' from a Southern school with M18s...

Anyway I like the 'Orphaned Armour' idea. Not sure what I'd have - off the top of my head I've got a Soviet T-26 I was intending to build as a Nationalist Chinese vehicle. I've lately become a little fascinated by the hodge-podge of stuff the Chinese bought from all over before the Japanese invaded, British, Soviet, and German AFVs - no standardization whatsoever. Not really enemy hands or lend-lease so I'm not sure it works - just let me know.

I've also been thinking about doing a M36 as one of several the US donated to the South Koreans back doing the Korean War- guess it was sorta lend-lease?

Let me know and I'll root around over the weekend and see what else I might be able to find.

orphaned tank GB......Already looking at Stugs in the Russian army

Ohhhhhhh,  I'm liking the next GB you guys are holding!  Funny thing is, I just watched an episode of "Tank Battles" on Netflix last night and it had an account of a German tank patrol that had a captured Sherman!  They painted it grey and put some crosses on it and it was lead tank!    Do I even have a Sherman?!  To the stash!

Like the idea of the next GB. I have the Trumpeter 39(H) Hodgkiss with German markings. Its small and should be a quicker build (I just ginxed that didn't I)

I started a Bronco Renault 39 as a quick easy build- the hull was but the teeny tiny itty-bitty individual track links kicked my tail!

And yep, afraid I have to say yes to the next one as well. And this time, I already have a kit, Tamiya's Su 85, which will be in German markings. Not as exciting as an Arad one, but at least this one will be in my comfort zone, even if its Russian.

Rifle stowed. I finally settl;ed on a CSA Cavalry kind of deal. 1868 seemed close enough.

You know I think we miss a lot in these photos unless theres a closeup, Nemo looks amazing. I would really like to see everybody submit more finished and close up shots when they call them ready. For example Nemo's base is perfect and all the detail just pops on this close up.

Love this build, one of my favorite books and author.

Well a month late and some dollars short... finished the second figure two weeks or so after the deadline but had a guy in our club take some better photos. Then he took a while to get these photos to me. So anyway here's Geometric Designs Romulan. Pretty happy with the figure except for the greens of her eyes- sounded good on paper, not sure how it looks on the real thing.Fairly happy with how the scratchbuild replacement hand disruptor came out though.

I love it! The base is a great addition.

The eyes proved to be a bold choice, and it pays off. I'd like to think that in the future, ST developers would consider tinting the eyes of actors playing Romulans and Vulcans to look like this. It makes sense. I think that your hesitancy accepting how they look is that they do look alien. We aren't used to seeing eyes through which green blood courses.

Great job on the Romulan!  

I think the green works fine around the eyes, if anything it adds a splash of colour.  Also learned something new, I had no idea Romulans had six fingers.
